Zhou Xiaoxuan gave her an angry stare.
Xu Xiaoya chuckled even more. "Little Xuanyuan, just wait and see. This year we can only buy a car worth six to seven hundred thousand, but in the years to co, we’ll upgrade to a Bentley, Ferrari, and the like. After all, as long as you’re willing to work hard, anyone can get ahead in life, right?"
Yan Xixi almost burst out laughing. She really dared to brag—Bentleys and Ferraris, no less.
Zhou Xiaoxuan could not stand it any longer. "What’s your point? Are you deliberately flaunting your wealth in front of ?"
Xu Xiaoya let out a whistle. "Smart! We can indeed flaunt our wealth. It wasn’t gained through corruption or bribery, nor did we rely on any sugar daddies. We worked hard and earned every penny with our own two hands. We also pay taxes according to the law. Nothing wrong with flaunting a little, right? We’re not Guo ii; we’re not afraid of being investigated."
Even Yan Xixi couldn’t help but laugh. She had never seen Xu Xiaoya so ’smug’ before. But then again, being ’smug’ could sotis be quite enjoyable, couldn’t it?

Isn’t she just here to show off to Xixi about her son marrying into wealth and influence? Everybody knows! Tell her not to bother; we won’t be envious of her rich daughter-in-law. We can afford a BMW or rcedes on our own. If she’s so capable, let her get Zhou Ting to buy one for her too! Let’s see then! Sucking up to others isn’t real capability; true capability is what you achieve yourself!"
