Wan Donglin hadn’t just arrived out of the blue, nor was he particularly interested in visiting Old Man Xu; he was only there to pick up Yan Xixi. After waiting for her for a long ti without her coming down, he had gone up to the hospital room. He had already been quietly listening outside for a while. When he saw those two n actually dare to get physical, he could no longer hold back.
The brother-in-law leaped up and tried to pounce from behind. But it was as if his attacker had eyes in the back of his head; a kick landed on the brother-in-law’s leg, followed by a foot stomping harshly onto his back.
Everyone was stunned.
Yan Xixi pulled Xu Xiaoya back a step, and the two of them finally felt a load off their shoulders.
Xu Xiaoya’s brother, dazed and seeing stars from the beating, finally ca to his senses and yelled, "Call the police! Call the police, quickly!"
His wife (the sister-in-law) was sprawled on the ground. Just as she was about to grab her phone, Yan Xixi kicked it out of her reach.
