"Third Brother, what are you doing?"
He sounded mysterious. "Guess?"
"Why do I hear a strange sound?"
He glanced at the sizzling potato slices in the oil pan. "I’m making roasted lamb chops."
Wan Dongi’s face paled in shock. "Third Brother, are you cooking??? Oh my God, you’re really cooking? For all these years, I’ve never seen you cook a single thing."
"Boss, that’s just because you don’t know. Actually, I’m capable of many things."
Wan Dongi was so stunned she was speechless for a long mont. "You... you aren’t making it for Yan Xixi, are you?"

Wan Dongi stared at her phone, mouth agape. She completely forgot why she had even called. She had wanted to ask him sothing, but the distraction made her forget every bit of it.
The aroma wafted from the dining room. Yan Xixi sat barefoot on the sofa, gulping down Pu’er tea.
Pu’er tea is wonderful stuff. Everything she had eaten for lunch was being quickly digested by the Pu’er, and her stomach soon started to gurgle. Plus, she had spent two or three hours running around at the hospital today, which had burned a lot of energy. When she slled the rich aroma of potato slices, she was absolutely ecstatic.
She had a book in her hand. After casually flipping through it, she jumped down and ran into the kitchen again.
"You big lug, are you hot? Let fan you."
Hot? With the central air conditioning on?

She rolled her eyes. "If you make them all for to try, then I’ll believe you."
He burst out laughing. "You think I’ll fall for that?"
She hugged his waist from behind, her face pressed against it, her voice coaxing, "Please cook them? Cook every single one for to try in the future, okay?"
AHEM. AHEM. AHEM.
Won, they really can’t be spoiled. Look, without even realizing it, she’s started brazenly ordering him around again.
"Please do it, Brother Donglin..."
He just couldn’t resist; a beauty’s ploy was always invincible.
"Silly girl, you can’t push your luck. My ti is precious; how could I cook for you every day? However, it’s not impossible for to cook everything for you to try at least once..."
Her eyes brightened. "Really?"
"Once you’re pregnant, I promise I’ll cook every single dish for you, no matter what delicious food you want, I’ll make it all for you. How about that?"
She cheered, "Is that a promise?"
"Of course."
But then she pressed, "Do I have to be pregnant to eat them? Can’t I have them if I’m not pregnant?"
He put on a stern face. "Both parties in a deal must observe basic fairness. If I make a concession, you have to make one too. I’m warning you, I will only cook if you’re pregnant. Even if I’m incredibly busy and have no ti, I’ll definitely make ti to cook for you. But, if a certain soone is only focused on her studies and not on, ahem, *more important matters*, then I absolutely will not cook. You should think about it. I can make dozens of delicious dishes and dozens of desserts, every single one tastier than roasted lamb chops. Heh heh... Tempting, isn’t it?"
Oh, yes! She wanted them so, so badly!
