Qi Longbing didn’t get up from the couch right away. Instead, he rested his forehead in one hand and asked with a smile, "So energetic? It seems you’ve rested well, and your shoulder has healed quite a bit too."
Looking at the rosy flush on her small face, he believed his injury was almost healed and his illness was also receding quickly. He truly longed to see her healthy, lively, and laughing happily. That would make him feel content, joyful, and imnsely pleased.
"Qi Longbing, let go now! I won’t bla you for abducting , but if you delay any longer, I’ll go to the police!" Hua Xiaomo said angrily. She could no longer maintain her composure, and her amber eyes, with their Jian Shui brilliance, turned red.

"Abduction? Reporting to the police? Hahaha..." Qi Longbing laughed heartily for a mont before slowly rising from the couch. Arms crossed, a smile played on his lips as he looked at the person tied to the sofa. "Hua Xiaomo, what you’re saying perplexes . Surely you don’t naively believe that just because our contract has ended, you’re free?"
Hua Xiaomo, forced to lie on the sofa, looked up at him. "Isn’t that so?"
"Hehe..." Qi Longbing chuckled, his expression indifferent as he casually replied, "Xiao Mo, it seems you still don’t grasp the situation. This contract... it only ends when I, Qi Longbing, say it’s over. Understand?"
"You..." Hua Xiaomo was so angry she was speechless for a mont before finally retorting furiously, "I’ll sue you, Qi Longbing!"
"Sue ?" Qi Longbing laughed again, his tall, slender figure slowly bending down. He leisurely sat beside her, reached out, and gently caressed her face, his voice light and eerie. "What would you sue for? Depriving you of your personal freedom? Or... for how well I’ve taken care of you?"

Suddenly, Qi Longbing stopped his hand, his blue eyes filled with an unpredictable, shadowy light. His gaze fixed on her face as he mocked, "In your heart, do you still harbor so perfect fantasy of Qi Longbing?"
Hua Xiaomo looked at him, her breathing uneven. I need to stay calm, absolutely calm.
There’s nothing I can do with my hands and feet tied. If I say anything more, I’ll be the one to suffer!

"A ga?" Hua Xiaomo was stunned for a mont. Then, thinking of how she was bound, she almost fainted!
However, the slight smile on his lips fully revealed his inherently unpleasant nature.
But before she could think further, Qi Longbing quickly took out two dice and placed them in a porcelain cup. "Let’s play a guessing ga. Even numbers are small, odd numbers are large. If you guess correctly, I’ll untie you. How about it?"
Hua Xiaomo looked at him, gritted her teeth, and then, steeling herself, blurted out, "Fine!"
Her "Fine!" inexplicably created a fissure in her heart, and it seed to make Qi Longbing’s eyes narrow into slits. His shoulders twitched, a reaction that seed almost involuntary, his heart stirred.
He leaned in once again, his smile seeming to probe the depths of her heart.
But she quickly turned her face away, simultaneously closing her eyes.
His smile faltered, and as it vanished, a chillingly beautiful darkness flickered in his eyes.
Qi Longbing quickly straightened up. He shook the cup, the dice clattering loudly inside, until he finally stopped. "Guess."
Hua Xiaomo looked at the porcelain cup and uttered a single word, "Small."
"I’ll guess big," Qi Longbing said with a smile, quickly uncovering the cup and placing it before her. "A four and a three. Seven in total. Big!"
"Sorry, I can’t untie you," Qi Longbing chuckled, then placed a hand on her lovely face, smiling. "Xiao Mo... you know I’ve invested a lot of energy in you. If I were to let you go just like that, it wouldn’t be in my nature. I need to recoup my investnt, just like getting a return with interest. That’s my principle."
Looking at him, Hua Xiaomo was so angry she wanted to bite his hand. "President Qi, do you find this ga amusing?"
"..." Qi Longbing fell silent at her words.
Suddenly, Hua Xiaomo seized the opportunity. Steeling her resolve, she lunged and bit down hard on his hand!
"Damn it... let go!" Qi Longbing exclaid. She bit my hand? This girl really is a little wildcat!
With his other hand, he forcefully pinched her jaw, forcing her to release his hand.
A ring of teeth marks was imprinted on his hand, looking as if she had placed a wedding band there.
