The next day when she awoke, Hua Xiaomo tried to turn her face but felt sothing was off.
All of a sudden, her brain felt as if it had been struck, and Hua Xiaomo woke up with a start, her first sight being the familiar yet stunningly beautiful face before her.
His bewitchingly angelic smile seed to persist even in sleep.

Imdiately, everything from last night flooded back into her mind, along with the monts of conspiracy and joy.
Hua Xiaomo suddenly furrowed her brows. It’s over, all over... She had intended to sche against him, but instead, she had ended up being the one ensnared! But, but, it wasn’t supposed to be like this, right? So why did it turn out this way?
Hua Xiaomo’s eyes reddened slightly. But was crying of any use? Putting aside whether it would work or whether she could successfully accuse him, her reputation as a young woman was completely ruined. She wasn’t even married yet; she still had to marry soone. What was she supposed to do in the future? Moreover, the whole situation itself was extrely complicated...
Hua Xiaomo looked at her own reflection and sighed. Let it be. She could only treat it as being bitten by a wolf; there was no other solution. Besides, she couldn’t tell anyone. If Brother Long found out about this, who knew if he would despise her?
Thinking about these things, Hua Xiaomo’s head began to ache, but she didn’t suffer long. Bearing the pain in her shoulder, she dressed herself.
When she opened the door and tiptoed out, seeing that the person on the bed was still asleep, she didn’t think further, quickly grabbed her bag, and slipped out the front door.
It wasn’t until after Hua Xiaomo left that Qi Longbing slowly opened his eyes. He sat up from the bed in one motion, long strands of hair from his temples falling across his eyes. He brushed them aside, and the sinister beauty in his pupils seed to deepen, layer upon layer.
Turns out he had been awake all along. But he wasn’t yet ready to directly face the woman to whom he had poured out his heart, yet who seed to have betrayed him overnight... That feeling was strange, awkward.
Soon, Qi Longbing picked up his luxurious Vertu phone. "Co over to Loveboy Bar right away."
"Sure, President Qi," Yu Bao responded imdiately.
Qi Longbing took a shower before dressing. He didn’t leave the room right away; instead, he lit a cigarette and stood at the window, smoking and thinking.
Yes, he really should think carefully about last night’s events. If there really was nothing wrong with those two glasses of champagne, why did he have such a strange feeling? And when the incident occurred, she had disappeared, yet what he saw in front of him was a man?
"President Qi, it’s just a bar. Don’t you think it’s more interesting and exciting compared to those high-end places you’ve taken to?" Her words from before seed to still echo in his ears, her laughter still in his mind. Thinking back now, she seed to have been brimming with sches! Betrayal! The word resounded vividly in his mind.
"The bar..." Qi Longbing suddenly snuffed out the cigarette in his hand fiercely, his blue eyes filled with malice.
"Hua Xiaomo, do you find this... amusing and thrilling?" Qi Longbing’s hands clenched tightly.
But the private room was silent. Hua Xiaomo had left, and no one was destined to answer him.
"Bastard! Do you really think anybody can play for a fool?" Qi Longbing cursed coldly. However, as his gaze swept across the room and landed on the bloodstain on the floor, the gloomy yet handso cast of his face lightened slightly.
Yet, the mont he thought about how this first night of hers had been used by her to sche against him, his mood couldn’t improve.
It wasn’t long before Yu Bao arrived. Seeing Qi Longbing, he too was taken aback; his boss’s handso face looked particularly awful.
"President Qi... are you okay?" Yu Bao asked with concern. Qi Longbing had specifically instructed Yu Bao not to follow them last night.
But now, why is he seeing only him in the room? Where is Hua Xiaomo?
"Go. Find the owner of this place... tell him to get out of City A imdiately!" Qi Longbing commanded.
"Oh, okay," Yu Bao responded. Soone must have provoked the President again. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be so furious.
"There’s another matter I need you to investigate imdiately..." Qi Longbing then gave a few more instructions.
"Yes!"
As Qi Longbing was leaving the private room, he suddenly spotted a butterfly brooch on the floor.
He rembered it belonged to her.
Quickly, Qi Longbing picked up the butterfly brooch, a slight smile playing on his lips, and slipped it into his jacket pocket before promptly departing.

Hua Xiaomo, walking on the road, was suddenly cut off by a sleek, silver-grey Lamborghini.
Yu Bao quickly got out of the car and walked toward her. "Hua Xiaomo, President Qi sent to take you to Banshan Villa for dinner."
Hua Xiaomo looked at him, her face slightly embarrassed. "Mr. Yu, I’ve already eaten. And I don’t want to go to his place today, so please relay the ssage to him."
Yu Bao looked at her scornfully. "Hua Xiaomo, I don’t know what’s going on between you and President Qi, but today, in a fit of anger, he shut down Loveboy Bar..."
"What? He shut down Loveboy Bar?" Hua Xiaomo was genuinely surprised. Thinking about Jess, the bar owner, if her business was really forced to close, it would be incredibly unjust to her.
"How could he do such a thing?" Hua Xiaomo frowned.
"I think... you must have sothing you want to tell President Qi, so tonight, don’t miss this chance. Perhaps if you appease him a bit, his anger might subside," Yu Bao suggested.
Regarding the matter Qi Longbing had asked him to investigate, she already knew the outco. It was clear that if Hua Xiaomo wanted to continue standing here unhard, her only option was to appease Qi Longbing. Their dynamic was truly interesting. Qi Longbing seed to like Hua Xiaomo, so why didn’t Hua Xiaomo like Qi Longbing? What exactly was the problem between them? Nobody really knew. But one thing was certain: sothing definitely happened last night. Otherwise, why would Qi Longbing be so enraged? When he got angry, he was truly terrifying. Well, regardless, he had to persuade Hua Xiaomo earnestly and ask her not to be so stubborn. Why be so unyielding? Being obstinate didn’t benefit anyone, and it was exhausting for oneself. Besides, Qi Longbing was his boss. If the boss lost his temper, the employees under him would suffer too. So, the best outco would be for Hua Xiaomo to comply willingly; that would be ideal. Of course, this wasn’t an easy task, but he would try his best to convince Hua Xiaomo. He just hoped she would behave, continue to stay at Qi Imperial Court, and do her job as the boss’s secretary well.
