Qi Longbing lay on the sofa, casting a casual glance at the woman by the door, and then spoke, "If I’ve called you here, would I call her too? Get lost, you stupid woman."
The girl thought about it and realized it made sense. She then turned to Hua Xiaomo. "Did you hear that? President Qi didn’t ask for you, so scram!"
Hua Xiaomo’s face flushed with anger as she looked at the girl. She was very sexy, with thick makeup on her face and scantily clad, looking every bit like a disreputable woman.
With these thoughts, Hua Xiaomo felt a surge of red in her eyes, not understanding why they were so red, even feeling a bit sour.
"I’m sorry, I got the wrong person," Hua Xiaomo said, just as she was about to turn around and leave.
From inside the door, a roar was heard. "You dumb girl, did I say she could leave? I told you to leave!"
The heavily made-up woman was startled and montarily dumbfounded. But in an instant, Qi Longbing’s banknotes were smashed against her face.
"If you don’t scram now, you won’t get any of this money," Qi Longbing said coldly.
The woman quickly bowed her head, hastily picking up the money from the floor. After gathering it, she made no further stay in the room and quickly left.
anwhile, Hua Xiaomo stood at the doorway, dumbfounded, not knowing whether to go in or what to do.
Qi Longbing, looking at the person standing at the door, smiled and said, "What are you still doing there? Co in, don’t you have sothing to discuss with ?"
Hua Xiaomo thought it over and, grinding her teeth, walked into the room.
Qi Longbing looked at her expressionlessly. "Once inside, don’t you know to close the door behind you? Close the door."
Hua Xiaomo simply reached back and closed the door, observing him with an expression of discomfort on her face.
"President Qi, can you really help ?" Hua Xiaomo looked at Qi Longbing, her heart thumping suddenly.
"Co sit with and watch a movie for a while," Qi Longbing said with a smile, ignoring her plea. He imdiately put on a film, pressing the remote so that the movie started playing on the big screen.
Hua Xiaomo stood rooted to the spot, unsure whether she should sit and watch the movie with him, but at that mont, she was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan. She knew she couldn’t afford to lose another minute, as every second would cost her losses amounting to several Wan.
She couldn’t afford to lose, nor did she have the ti to. Her money was vanishing like it had been thrown into the sea, soon to be gone, and she was about to be penniless. Of course, the only option left was to file for bankruptcy imdiately to barely cling to her remaining assets.
"If you don’t listen to , and don’t sit down quietly here to watch this movie with , I believe the issues with your company will be unsolvable." Qi Longbing’s words drifted faintly to her ears, his gaze fixed on the movie. To put it bluntly, she was in a hurry; he was not. She was desperate; he was indifferent.
At this mont, it was a test of who could outlast the other.
Hua Xiaomo bit the corner of her lip and finally, still holding her purse, sat down on the sofa and watched the big screen. For a mont, she noticed that on the screen, a man and a woman were starting to do what adults do...
When Hua Xiaomo saw this, she knew that the film being played was that kind of movie. She didn’t even look at his expression, but stared blankly toward a certain place in the room.
The space was very Quite. Nobody was talking, and Qi Longbing wasn’t speaking either. His gaze wasn’t on her but fixed on the movie, as if he were the only person in the room.
And this woman beside him was like air, a nonexistent entity. Well, it would be okay if she really didn’t exist here, but for so reason, she had to co.
How long had it been? Just as the scenes on the movie screen beca more intense, Qi Longbing’s hand, as if by magic, took hold of her delicate hand.
But the mont he touched her, Hua Xiaomo reacted nervously. She quickly withdrew her hand and stood up tensely.
Qi Longbing glanced at her and then chuckled. "Why are you so nervous? Don’t you know what you should be doing at this mont? Since you’re here to ask for my help, you should try hard to please , you know?"
"Co, sit beside ," Qi Longbing said slowly, a bright light in his eyes.
Hua Xiaomo shook her head and looked at him again. "Can you really help solve my problem by doing this? My company is now in big trouble."
"I know you’re in big trouble. That’s why you should be more self-aware. If you don’t realize this, who would help you?" Qi Longbing said with a cold laugh, his eyes boring into her face.
Hua Xiaomo clenched her teeth tighter, gazing at him. She really didn’t know why he was doing this; she knew she couldn’t bear it.
"I’m sorry, but if you want to accompany you like this, I really can’t do it," Hua Xiaomo said. Picking up her purse, she walked towards the door without another word.
It seed she had really made a mistake by coming here. She didn’t want to preserve her company by selling herself; if she did that, she would despise herself.
Just as Hua Xiaomo passed by the doorway, that Wuqing sentence echoed in the air.
"Fine, you can leave now, but once you step out of here today, you’ll never have a chance to co back. Even if you co to again, I won’t help you. Think carefully about it yourself," Qi Longbing said, his face turning colder.
Hua Xiaomo’s expression turned extrely unsightly. She felt trapped in a very strange circle.
But what choice did she have now? If the company’s current losses weren’t stopped imdiately, then her company would truly be finished.
But could the man before her really help her? The Qi Imperial Court hadn’t dealt in the gaming industry before, and she had so doubts. However, given the financial power of the Qi Imperial Court, she believed they could indeed help salvage her company’s current crisis.
Hua Xiaomo turned back and looked at Qi Longbing, her eyes almost pleading.
"President Qi, what exactly do you want to do for you to help ? But if you want to sell myself, I really can’t do that, and I ask for your forgiveness. But I really hope you can help , help my company survive this crisis," Hua Xiaomo said earnestly, her eyes filled with a watery sheen. Her amber eyes shimred with a dark glow.
