Hua Xiaomo was slightly startled, but what could she say at this mont? Just as she was about to stand up and leave, suddenly, Qi Longbing grabbed her hand. "What are you doing?"
"There are still so matters in my company that I want to deal with. Plus, isn’t there a press conference scheduled for tomorrow afternoon? I need to arrange that as well," Hua Xiaomo said quickly. She didn’t want to have too much contact with him. But wasn’t it laughable to even say that?
Would their interactions lessen in the future? During this year, she could only stay by his side! She didn’t know when he would need her, but she had to be there for him.
However, he probably wouldn’t stay in City B forever; he had to return to the Qi Imperial Court, so he would likely go back soon. That way, she could have a bit of relaxation for a while.
Qi Longbing thought for a mont and said with a smile, "You seem to really care about your company. Alright, go handle your affairs, and then we can finalize the signing tomorrow afternoon."
"Hmm," Hua Xiaomo nodded, saying nothing more, and stood up to smooth her clothes.
As she was about to leave, she suddenly thought of sothing and asked, "After the contract is signed, will you send soone over to manage the project, or will you be in charge yourself?" Hua Xiaomo asked, subtly inquiring when Qi Longbing planned to leave.
How could Qi Longbing not understand the implication behind her words?
"Are you reluctant to see go? Don’t worry, I won’t be gone for long. I’ll visit City B every week, making sure we have a romantic evening every weekend," Qi Longbing said quickly.
Hua Xiaomo was rendered speechless. So, he planned to shuttle between City A and City B every week.
But wasn’t that a waste of ti? Besides, it struck her as sowhat incomprehensible.
Was it really necessary to do this?
"What? You don’t believe I can manage to co here once a week?" Qi Longbing asked with a smile, easily guessing her thoughts as he gazed at the beauty in his arms. "I have a private jet, you know? I can co whenever I want, and you must accompany , alright?"
Hua Xiaomo listened speechlessly, especially to his last sentence. She desperately wanted to suggest he visit only once a year, but she couldn’t bring herself to say it. She feared he would be instantly offended. It was better not to say anything now. She decided they had to wait until after the contract was signed and the company’s crisis resolved before she could slowly broach the subject of his visit frequency.
With this in mind, Hua Xiaomo already had so ideas.
However, Hua Xiaomo’s current thoughts were far from Qi Longbing’s considerations. He, in fact, was mulling over a different plan. Hua Xiaomo looked at Qi Longbing, unsure what to say. After a mont, she managed, "Then it’s settled. I’ll head back now to prepare for the press conference and draft the contract. I’ll send it to your VIP number later—are you still using it? I’ll send it there for you to review. Let know if you have any revisions. If there are no issues, we can proceed with the official signing tomorrow afternoon based on this contract. How does that sound?" Hua Xiaomo finished speaking with practiced ease, her gaze faltering slightly as she looked at Qi Longbing.
Qi Longbing watched her with a smile. "Truly the style of a chairman—so decisive and efficient! Hua Xiaomo, you’re much more dedicated than when you were my secretary. But I’m also very proud that you *were* my secretary. Now, as a chairman, your position is even higher than mine as general manager! I’m proud of you!"
Hua Xiaomo forced a smile and said nothing more. She fiddled with her bag, walked to the door, opened it, and left the room.
Qi Longbing watched her go, not saying anything. In that mont, he felt a wave of tenderness fill his chest; Hua Xiaomo was like a delicate wisp of seafoam in his embrace.

When Hua Xiaomo left the hotel, she could feel her heart still racing, while her face grew several shades paler. Thinking back to everything that had just happened, she had truly surrendered to him. It was unbelievable. Ah, why did it happen?

Hua Xiaomo settled into her Ferrari and sat there for a long, long ti without starting the engine. Her head throbbed. She gently massaged her temples until the pain eased slightly before finally driving away.
She did not head ho but went straight to Tianhe Hospital.
At Tianhe Hospital, Hua Xiaomo found Zi Yunsui lying in his hospital bed. Coincidentally, Ye Xiangxue was not in the room at that mont. Hua Xiaomo approached and sat by Zi Yunsui’s bedside, gazing at the man who still lay there, his eyes closed.

At this mont, Zi Yunsui was still the general manager of her company, a position she felt was irreplaceable. She felt that no one else could fill the role of general manager like Zi Yunsui. Moreover, she was determined to find a way to help Zi Yunsui recover as soon as possible.
