Qi Longbing’s eyes dimd upon hearing this, but only for half a second before he reverted to his usual cynical nonchalance.
However, he didn’t speak. His blue eyes, deep as a fathomless sea, gazed at her, laced with a hint of devilish charm.
Hua Xiaomo turned her face away again, just as she decided not to say anything more.
"You think you understand well?" Qi Longbing said with a smirk.
He looked at her, then unhurriedly retrieved a bottle of Romanée-Conti red wine from a liquor cabinet. After taking out a stemd glass and pouring himself a drink, he slowly walked over to the corner sofa and sat down languidly. He crossed his legs, exuding an air of utter coolness and effortless style.
"In this world, I do as I please. Nobody can defy , and that includes you. Got it?" Qi Longbing stated faintly, his deep, dark pupils revealing utter indifference.
"..." Hua Xiaomo frowned slightly upon hearing this. This arrogant, conceited fellow. Does he really think he’s so Crown Prince or Emperor?
A shadow of gloom gradually fell over Hua Xiaomo’s eyes. She fell silent and didn’t say another word for a long ti.
