When would she be able to go over to their house to play? When could she take her daughter to the amusent park, take her to Animal World, take her to the marine museum? If that were the case, she would feel as if the whole world, like the sun, was smiling at her.
Hua Xiaomo tenderly stroked her daughter’s little head and turned to her friend Ye Xiangxue. "Ye Xiangxue, if you’re not busy later, would you like to join my daughter and for a shopping trip? I think we should all buy sothing. What do you need? I can pick up the tab for you."
"Oh, how could I possibly accept that? Hua Xiaomo, I really feel I should pay for my own shopping. But it’s alright, I’m free now, so I’ll accompany you and your daughter to the nearby mall later. Anyway, it’s quite boring doing nothing; a stroll around is good indeed," Ye Xiangxue replied, a slight blush on her face.
To be honest, the idea of Hua Xiaomo paying for her made her a bit embarrassed. After all, she should be spending her own money.
"Alright, whatever you say. It doesn’t matter to ," Hua Xiaomo laughed, genuinely unconcerned.
After the three of them finished their noodles, they headed towards the nearby shopping mall, eventually arriving at a shoe store.
"Welco, how may I assist you today?" A sales associate approached them enthusiastically, her face beaming with a radiant smile. She sensed potential business coming their way.
This shoe store was generally high-end with a broad selection, offering won’s shoes, bags, and children’s footwear. It was truly the most convenient and economical choice for shoe shopping, although ’economical’ in this instance didn’t an inexpensive. But to Hua Xiaomo, it was indeed a bargain, as at that mont, there were very few things she could not afford.
It all ca down to whether she was willing to buy them.
"Hello, I’d like to buy a pair of shoes for my daughter, and oh, another pair for my friend here. You know what, I’ll get a pair for myself as well. As the saying goes, if the shoes fit well, you can walk anywhere in the world. Plus, it’s good for foot health," Hua Xiaomo said, laughing, then looked at the two beside her.
She continued, her amber eyes shining, "Haha, do you agree with my point of view? No matter how expensive or ordinary your clothes are, your shoes must be the best. Because only if your shoes are comfortable, will your mood be good, right?"
Upon hearing Hua Xiaomo’s words, Candy furrowed her brows, seemingly disagreeing with her mother’s statent, but she still looked at her mother with a smile and said, "Mom, you sure have a lot of grown-up things to say, but I don’t quite understand them. After all, those are adult words, and kids don’t get them. How about you don’t tell adult things in the future? If you speak in kid terms, I’ll understand."
Hua Xiaomo gazed into her daughter’s eyes and smiled. "Kid terms? Alright then, my lovely Little Candy, if you put on a pair of crystal shoes, then you can be happy for life. Did you understand that?"
"Haha, Mom, you should say that once Cinderella wears the crystal shoes, she can find her Prince Charming, right?" Candy laughed happily. She looked at Hua Xiaomo. She felt like her mother truly was Snow White, stepped out from a fairy tale world. Oh, she was so fortunate to have Snow White as her mom! Her world was just radiantly blissful. There seed to be no sad things at all.
Hua Xiaomo was taken aback for a mont, but she soon smiled again. Her own daughter was indeed the best.
She patted her little head with one hand. "Oh my, when did my Little Candy beco so smart! You even know these fairy tales. Did Teacher Wang from your class tell you about them?"
Candy looked at her mom, smiled, and nodded.
Standing next to them, Ye Xiangxue found their mother-daughter dialogue quite amusing. She looked at Hua Xiaomo, smiled, and said, "Hua Xiaomo, look how clever and adorable your daughter is. I think when she grows up, she’s going to be sothing else. If she inherits all your good qualities, all the outstanding boys in the world will be pursuing her; that will be sothing."
"Oh, oh, let’s not talk about that right now; we can talk about the future later. Let’s hurry and pick out so shoes. Just choose whichever pair you like," said Hua Xiaomo with a smile, then glanced at Ye Xiangxue and her daughter Candy beside her, her heart blooming with joy.
Okay, at that mont, any displeasure or worries had been completely cast aside. Alright, she was just not soone who liked to be angry. She liked to live a joyful life and always tried to manage her mood well. She did not like a life that felt oppressive. She didn’t like a boring life either; she thought life should be full of energy, passion, and filled with all sorts of warm feelings.
"I love Mommy so much! I’m going to pick out shoes now. Mommy, I’ll go pick over there; you and Sister Ye Xiangxue can pick here, okay?" Candy said happily with a smile and then fluttered away like a pretty little butterfly.
Hua Xiaomo smiled at her daughter and then looked towards the rows of beautiful, high-end shoes.
At that mont, a sales associate slowly approached Hua Xiaomo and said, "Miss, all our shoes here are the latest styles. Take a look and see what kind of style you like; you can try any of them on."
Hua Xiaomo nodded. She looked at a pair of shoes and said, "These are quite nice. Can you get a pair of size 38? I wear size 38."
"Of course, just a mont, please," the server said and quickly went to the stockroom to find a pair of size 38 shoes. She then brought them to her. "Miss, I have your shoes. Please try them on to see if they fit."
The server spoke enthusiastically. Looking at Hua Xiaomo, she felt very pleased. Of course, when facing custors, the custor is their god! Satisfying the custor’s mood ans satisfying God, and only then can one work with pleasure and comfort.
"Thank you, I’ll try them on now," Hua Xiaomo smiled. Then she picked up the white shoes and tried them on. Hehe, they felt pretty nice.
