From the mont the door shut, Zi Yunsui felt a faint sense of loss stirring within him.
Perhaps, he really couldn’t live with them, not because he was unwilling, but mainly because Hua Xiaomo was unwilling to live with him. Yet, he couldn’t forget the relationship that existed between them. That relationship was indeed very delicate. Who could say otherwise? "Okay, I’ll go by myself. You can get back to your work, Xiao Qing," Qi Longbing said with a smile, his devastatingly handso face beaming. He then slipped his hands into his pants pockets and walked toward Hua Xiaomo’s office.
Pushing open the grand door to Hua Xiaomo’s office, he saw that everything inside remained unchanged.
At that mont, a faint smile touched his lips. He knew Hua Xiaomo still thought of him; she had even placed the daffodil he gave her in the most conspicuous spot.
It turned out that when Qi Longbing left, he had given Hua Xiaomo a pot of daffodils because he knew she loved them. Daffodils were a very beautiful type of green plant. Moreover, this green plant didn’t need much water and didn’t require daily watering, making it easy to care for and very resilient. It could survive all year round. So, at that ti, he had begun to understand why Hua Xiaomo liked daffodils so much.
Now he realized that daffodils indeed possessed so many wonderful qualities. Thus, he felt that sotis Hua Xiaomo was just like the daffodils—strong, beautiful, adorable, captivating, and kind.
When he left, he had given Hua Xiaomo that pot of daffodils, and he never expected her to take such good care of it.
From where he stood, the daffodils had blood, and their small white flowers were incredibly beautiful—beautiful enough to make one’s heart race. Alright, he had also fallen deeply in love with this pot of daffodils.
Qi Longbing’s thoughts wandered as he slowly approached the potted plant. He couldn’t help but touch a leaf, which quivered slightly, as if smiling at him. In that mont, a smile spread within him as well.
It had been so ti since they last saw each other. He wondered if Hua Xiaomo missed him as much as he missed her.
"Hua Xiaomo, if you knew how much I missed you when I was in City A, would you be moved?" Qi Longbing murmured to himself, a smile on his incomparably handso face.
At that mont, a faint smile lingered in his heart. Yes, this ti, upon returning to City B, he must achieve everything he had set his mind to. He truly wanted to be with Hua Xiaomo and acknowledge his daughter. He felt that his daughter was his entire world; if he couldn’t give her a complete ho, he would consider his life a total failure. She had secretly co to City B to cause trouble for Hua Xiaomo and had even bullied his daughter at the kindergarten. How utterly shaless! No matter what, he was determined not to let Pan Yutong off the hook this ti. He vowed to teach her a harsh lesson and make her understand that no one could bully his daughter. He wanted her to understand that her current actions were simply digging her own grave. The Qi Imperial Court had never deigned to engage in marriage alliances. Frankly, he had felt uncomfortable even when they signed the contract with Warner World. If Warner World hadn’t been pestering them so persistently, why would he have ever agreed to cooperate with them? He truly regretted it now. How could he have agreed to cooperate with them back then?
