Pan Yutong’s attitude and behavior had grievously wounded Qi Longbing’s heart. She’s truly a detestable woman, he thought in that mont. I’ve never encountered anyone like her. She didn’t know if she would survive, but regardless, in this haze, she felt a profound sense of satisfaction.
At the hospital, Qi Longbing felt a heavy pressure weigh down on him. When he saw Pan Yutong’s state as she was rushed into the ergency room, his world seed to darken. He didn’t say a word, just stood at the door, waiting for the ergency room light to turn on.
Soon, the light above the ergency room door lit up, signaling that urgent care had begun. An unknown amount of ti passed. He remained standing outside, extrely anxious, hesitant, and restless.
I really shouldn’t have saved this woman, he thought grimly. Why did I even save her? Saving her ans nothing but trouble, completely making things difficult for myself. I really can’t stand her anymore. It feels like she lives in this world solely to obstruct her own happiness!
And yet, out of a basic sense of human decency, he had saved her. He had saved her life out of conscience, but now he felt extrely irritable. A deep discomfort settled in his heart; he was thoroughly displeased. If only this woman would stay away from for good! But now that I’ve saved her this ti, I hope her mind clears up. I hope she stops hounding like this and stops being so unreasonable. Anyway, no matter what, I won’t get involved with her again. I’m so sick of her, so incredibly sick of her! I can’t stand her!
He was at his breaking point. But for now, all he could do was wait for the ergency room light to slowly go out.
I hope she pulls through this, he thought. That’s my only wish right now. Although he had no affection left for her, he still possessed a basic moral compass. He hoped she would live. After all, Warner World still needs her. But I also hope that after this, she’ll finally agree to the divorce and we can put an end to this. I don’t want to discuss any more problems.
Suddenly, Qi Longbing’s phone rang. He imdiately took it out. Seeing the familiar number, he answered, his voice quick and strained, "Why is it you? Why are you calling now? I’m really stressed! Do you have any idea how awful I feel? Do you know Pan Yutong just tried to kill herself? I never thought she could be such a despicable person! Tell , what am I supposed to do?"
Hua Xiaomo was sowhat surprised. She hadn’t expected Qi Longbing to tell her these things. But what’s the use? she thought. Will it solve anything?
