Unexpectedly, Yu Bao actually replied, "The girls from ’Emma Show Field’ all know how to box."
Hua Xiaomo paused, stunned. She looked at him; it was as if sothing was written on his handso face. However, she smiled faintly. "I’m not like them. But don’t you think it’s rather sad to box for money?"
"Yes, you’re much luckier than them. At least you have President Qi by your side...," Yu Bao said, a touch of clarity in his gaze. Perhaps he truly didn’t understand this girl he’d been around all this ti.
"Sigh... Let’s not talk about him. Since we can’t leave, why don’t you chat with for a bit?" Hua Xiaomo smiled.
"Hmm." Yu Bao nodded.
"Shall we go to the car?" Hua Xiaomo smiled at him.
"Without President Qi’s orders..."
"Alright, I get it. I won’t make things difficult for you. We’ll just go chat in the car."
"Alright then."
Soon, the two of them were sitting in the silver-grey Lamborghini, one in the front and one in the back. One asked questions, the other answered.
Soft, relaxing music played between them, and the evening passed quite pleasantly.
Eventually, Hua Xiaomo started to nod off. She had yawned countless tis but still forced herself to stay awake.
"Miss Hua, if you’re really tired, why don’t you go sleep in the villa?" Yu Bao said, a hint of concern in his voice.
Hua Xiaomo smiled, her eyes half-lidded. "Hey, what were we just talking about?"
Yu Bao smiled helplessly and continued. He recounted amusing anecdotes from his martial arts training and competitions.
It was getting on past ten o’clock.
Yu Bao glanced at the car’s clock. Frankly, he wasn’t sure if Qi Longbing would even return. Yet, strangely, he felt no urge to call him. It was the first ti he’d ever felt like this.
"How about I drive you back?" Yu Bao suddenly suggested.
Hua Xiaomo looked at him, not showing much excitent, her voice quite flat. "Really?"
"Yeah."
"If I leave, aren’t you afraid your boss will fire you?"
"It’s late, and besides, I’d have to take you back by midnight anyway. President Qi isn’t that unreasonable; he wouldn’t object," Yu Bao reasoned.
Hua Xiaomo’s lips curled into a crescent moon smile. "Great! You’ll drive ? Honestly, I’m really getting drowsy. Mr. Yu, thank you so much!"
Her last "thank you" was truly sincere. Honestly, convincing soone to help isn’t easy, she thought. Especially soone who’s a trusted aide to their boss.
But who’s to say I haven’t persuaded this Yu Bao? This is what you call subtle persuasion!
Besides, if Yu Bao can be brought over to my side, getting away with things in the future will be much easier! Hehe!
"You’re welco," Yu Bao also smiled. He then started the car, and soon it was speeding off, carrying them both into the enchanting night.

When Qi Longbing drove his Ferrari back to the White House Villa, the mont he stepped inside, he was t with a deathly stillness. His expression instantly darkened.
The villa was clearly empty. Aunt Wang, too, had long since gone to bed.

"Hello, your call has been forwarded to voicemail. Please leave a ssage after the tone."
