Song Qiao’s gaze fell upon her, furrowing his eyebrows slightly. Finally, he sighed inwardly and said, "Brother, after I finish talking with Miss Murong, let her go."
Nan Moyan was confused, "Why?"
"Poor people always have hateful traits. She rely thought our parents killed her parents. Now that things have co to this, she and I are even."
In reality, she didn’t want to bind Lu Jingchen to such a grudge. After all, Murong Rui’s parents had saved Lu Jingchen’s life.
Lu Jingchen beside them was sowhat surprised by Song Qiao’s actions. After a brief mont of shock, he ca to his senses and spoke to the siblings, "In a few days, I will send her abroad, never to let her return."
Nan Moyan glanced at him but said nothing.
Song Qiao’s face showed a faint smile as she nodded, "Good."
Tan Shuya had already awakened while Murong Rui had been taken away. Lu Jingchen directly called his subordinates to co and take Murong Rui away.
Song Qiao had been waiting for Tan Shuya to wake up. When she saw Tan Shuya open her eyes and lift her head, she walked straight to Tan Shuya and crouched down, lips parted slightly, "Awake?"
Upon hearing Song Qiao’s voice, Tan Shuya’s body stiffened suddenly. She looked directly at Song Qiao crouching in front of her. After a mont of bewildernt, a sinister smile broke the exhaustion, and she spoke weakly, "Song Qiao, why aren’t you dead yet?"
Song Qiao was not angered by Tan Shuya’s words and spoke calmly, "Perhaps I’m lucky, even the heavens let be."
Tan Shuya coughed violently, almost coughing out her lungs, her eyes filled with malice, yet her words were weak, "Yes, you’re lucky, everyone stands by your side. Even the kidnappers I painstakingly found were your brother... Song Qiao, do you know? At first, I didn’t hate you. But because of you, I lost everything that was rightfully mine. How could I not hate you?"
Realizing that she was nearly at her end, suddenly feeling her life was indeed bleak, Tan Shuya once envied Song Qiao, envied Lu Jingchen’s deep affection for her.
Song Qiao pursed her lips, and her gaze fell upon Tan Shuya’s pale and dirty face. Once, Song Qiao too harbored resentnt in her heart, but now that hatred was slowly dissipating, "Tan Shuya, one’s life is in one’s own hands, and so things are destined. Things not ant for you cannot be forced, and things ant for you, you do not cherish."
Pausing, she suddenly rembered sothing, stood up, and said clearly to her, "When you almost killed my son, I too wished to drag you down to the eighteen layers of hell. What happened between us should not have involved an innocent child, nor should you have treated him that way."
Tan Shuya heard Song Qiao’s words and suddenly wanted to laugh, but the pain from her body prevented her from doing so. Suddenly, she felt sweetness in her throat, and in the next mont, she coughed violently, coughing up blood.
Seeing the blood before her, a relieved smile finally appeared on Tan Shuya’s face, and she spoke weakly, "I didn’t an to hurt the child, you forced ... Song Qiao... you forced ..."
After speaking, she lacked any strength to say more and abruptly closed her eyes.
She had already given up on her life. Endless tornt made her long for death.
The only regret in her heart was toward Jiang Yingjie. At the very last mont, she wondered if she had been with Jiang Yingjie at the beginning, wouldn’t she have ended up like this.
The answer was certainly yes.
In reality, if she hadn’t been so obsessed with Lu Jingchen and committed such deranged acts, the outco wouldn’t have been like this.
But there is no dicine for regret in this world.
Song Qiao had foreseen Tan Shuya’s downfall long ago. Seeing her in this state, she closed her eyes sowhat reluctantly and turned her head away.
