That call of "Wanwan" carried a gentle tone, and even a soft smile hung on the handso face of the man, as if they were old friends.
Old Master Ning turned directly to Ning Wan, his face showing no unnecessary expression, and said to Ning Wan, "Musen is here to see you, he says he wants to take you out to play. If you’ve got nothing going on, go with Musen. Anyway, you will have to cultivate feelings sooner or later."
Ning Wan was puzzled, wondering how Lin Musen knew her family’s address, and why he ca here looking for her. Even though she had t Lin Musen at noon, she hadn’t revealed her true identity, only telling him her na.
In fact, not many people know about her position as the Ning Family’s second lady. Those who do are probably ones who pay attention to the Ning Family frequently. On the other hand, Ning Yan’er, the eldest lady of the Ning Family, is quite famous in An City, almost everyone knows her.
Just as Ning Wan was about to voice her doubts, Lin Musen quickly approached her with a gentle smile and said, "I was worried you wouldn’t be ho. Looks like I ca just in ti. Let’s go, have dinner with tonight."
"But..." Ning Wan was montarily stunned by Lin Musen’s words, and instinctively responded, "But my family has rules..."
"It’s okay, go out with Musen. Co back later tonight." Old Master Ning interrupted her before she could finish.
Ning Wan’s gaze fell on Old Master Ning’s face, and she t his eyes. She inexplicably seed to catch a hint of softness in the old man’s eyes. But upon blinking and gazing again, she couldn’t see it anymore, and for a mont she doubted her senses.
In her daze, Lin Musen had already put an arm around her waist and led her towards the door. By the ti she completely ca to herself, she found herself already outside the Ning Family Mansion.
Lin Musen’s car was parked right at the entrance of the Ning Family Mansion. Ning Wan looked down at his hand on her waist, realized what was happening, and quickly broke free, pulling away from him abruptly, taking a few steps back, and looked at him warily.
Lin Musen glanced at his hand that was hanging in mid-air, paused, looked at Ning Wan, still wearing that gentle smile, and remarked with a bit of cheekiness, "What’s the matter? Only a few hours have passed and you don’t recognize anymore?"
His words were ant humorously, not seriously doubting that Ning Wan couldn’t recognize him.
But Ning Wan shook her head seriously, then looked straight at him and asked, "I just want to know how you knew I lived here."
Lin Musen had expected her to ask sothing else or say sothing different. Surprised by her question, he remained silent for a dozen seconds before admitting, "I saw Ning Yan’er at Mo Han’s place at noon."
"Did Ning Yan’er tell you?" Ning Wan narrowed her eyes.
Lin Musen shook his head, laughed, "I guessed it. She didn’t tell you’re her sister. Am I smart?"
Ning Wan, "..." Would Ning Yan’er acknowledge her as a sister? That was impossible.
Because even she didn’t want to acknowledge Ning Yan’er as her cousin.
However, hearing Lin Musen’s last words, Ning Wan didn’t doubt it.
She and Ning Yan’er do resemble each other sowhat, because her father and Ning Wan’s father were identical twins, only her father was born a few hours earlier and beca the elder brother.
In appearance, she and Ning Yan’er each inherited so features from their fathers. For example, their eyes are sowhat similar, but perhaps because Ning Yan’er grew more matured, her eyes weren’t as similar as they were before. Ning Wan’s eyes seed to carry an aura of spirit, while Ning Yan’er’s eyes now held a touch of allure.
But when it cos to facial features, they do resemble each other.
No wonder Lin Musen could guess it.
Quelling her internal doubts, Ning Wan took a discreet look at Lin Musen and then asked, "Why did you co looking for today? Is it really just to invite to dinner?"
