Song Qiao looked at Ning Wan, montarily startled, then coughed awkwardly twice, raising her hand to signal that she had a question.
With an indifferent glance, Ning Wan grandly waved her hand and nodded, "Speak."
"You asked so many questions all at once, which one should I answer first?"
Ning Wan huffed, not falling for Song Qiao’s trick, "Answer them one by one, you must answer them all."
Song Qiao felt she couldn’t possibly answer all of these questions, though so she could manage, like Lu Jingchen’s na and whether he was handso.
As for the other questions, his temper should be quite decent. As for family background, needless to say, no one in An City could compare, and of course, the esteed Young Master Lu must have both a house and a car.
But after thinking, Song Qiao decided she only needed to answer one question and said, "His na is Lu Jingchen, the helmsman of CK Corporation."
Ning Wan suddenly widened her eyes in disbelief and burst out, "What? You’re saying that the person you’re marrying is the helmsman of CK Corporation, the renowned Lu Jingchen of the Lu Family from An City?"
Since when did Qiaoqiao get involved with a man like Lu Jingchen?
Wait, Qiaoqiao just said she forced a marriage upon a man she t for the first ti on the street, isn’t she being too bold?
Most importantly, Qiaoqiao forced a marriage proposal on that legendary Young Master Lu, and he actually agreed to her?
After all, when she first learned of Lu Jingchen’s identity, she too was quite flustered. Now, it seems not so unacceptable, and she calmly took a sip of soup, humd acknowledgnt, and nodded, which apparently answered Ning Wan’s question.
Ning Wan’s thoughts were in complete disarray, blurting out without hesitation, "Damn, Young Master Lu isn’t that desperate to actually agree to marry you? How lacking in won must he be? Or is it his life’s wish to be forced into a marriage?"
Song Qiao nearly spit out her soup and looked resentfully at her best friend, accusing, "Qiaoqiao, am I really that terrible?" Weren’t we supposed to be each other’s angels? How did you turn into a devil so quickly?
Ning Wan chuckled mischievously and nodded in agreent, "Actually, you’re not that bad, but compared to the identity of the helmsman of CK Corporation, you’ve been utterly pulverized into nothingness. You know who Lu Jingchen is. Two-thirds of the females in An City dream of marrying him, including one-third who are either elderly grandmothers stepping into their coffins or newborn children."
Hearing Ning Wan put it that way, Song Qiao couldn’t co up with any argunt to refute her, it was undeniable.
Ning Wan sat down, pushed away the dishes in front of her, propped her chin on both hands, and, with shining eyes, asked Song Qiao, "Qiaoqiao, what’s it like to be married to a man like Lu Jingchen, who has such a prestigious identity and background that he’s not even humanly normal?"
Song Qiao thought about it and answered, "Suddenly feels like my life is complete."
"Pfft, is that all it takes to complete your life?" Ning Wan looked at her sowhat frustratedly, grinding her teeth, "Isn’t the completion of life marrying a male god like that, bearing his children, and then the two of you living happily together till the end? You’ve only accomplished one of those things so far."
