After the boss left, all that was known was that Ning Wan had stayed with him for two days; beyond that, nothing else was known.
In the reception room stood a motionless man, his tall and upright figure rooted on the spot, exuding an aura so indifferent it almost dared people not to approach.
He has always been like this, icy cold, with a face that barely smiled, maintaining an expressionless look towards everyone, making it impossible to guess what he was truly thinking.
The door to the reception room was pushed open again, directly hitting the wall with a piercing noise. The loud crash made the previously unmoved man turn his head slightly to look at the newcor, only to find it was Song Qiao and then he averted his gaze back.
Song Qiao walked up to him, seemingly out of breath, obviously having run in. She started by accusing, "Xi Mohan, where is Ning Wan? I heard you found so information about her; where is she?"
The air conditioning in the reception room made it very comfortable, yet even so, as soon as Song Qiao approached this man, perhaps due to his overwhelming presence and exceedingly cold deanor, she felt a chill emanating from him rush towards her.
Hearing Song Qiao’s words, the man lifted his eyes to give her a faint glance. His thin lips tightly sealed, his face still wore that indifferent expression. After a long while, his lips slightly parted, and his first words were calling her by na in an indifferent tone devoid of any emotion, "Song Qiao, I was about to ask you, where did she go?"
Song Qiao was stunned, then laughed out of extre anger, "You’re asking ?"
"Otherwise, what do you think?" The man still wore that cold expression, stepped forward towards her, his gaze fixed intently on her as if trying to ascertain sothing from her face, and continued, "In this world, besides you, her best friend, she doesn’t trust anyone else. Song Qiao, shouldn’t I be asking you?"
Ning Wan hadn’t left An City; that was the only definite information he had.
But where exactly in An City Ning Wan was, he did not know... However, his lack of knowledge didn’t an Song Qiao didn’t know. After all, Song Qiao was her best friend in this world and the only person she truly trusted.

"She’s still in An City." The man’s lips were still tightly sealed, not hiding this fact from Song Qiao, continuing, "Since she’s in An City, how could she possibly not contact you?"
Hearing Xi Mohan say Ning Wan was still in An City, Song Qiao’s eyes tightened, her face showing a trace of shock, sowhat dumbfoundedly she said, "Wanwan is still in An City?"
"You didn’t know?" Xi Mohan furrowed his brows, his tone still indifferent as if questioning yet sowhat asserting.
"I told you I didn’t know," Song Qiao suddenly beca angry, staring intently at the man in front of her, continuing, "Xi Mohan, if Ning Wan wanted to hide from you and not be found, it’s normal she wouldn’t contact . Perhaps she guessed you would have soone watch . Moreover, even if I knew where she was, I wouldn’t tell you. To say nothing of the fact that I don’t know her whereabouts; I’m also searching for her."
The man didn’t speak further but instead drooped his eyelids slightly, staring fixedly at the floor in front of him, as if pondering sothing.
Seeing Xi Mohan like this, Song Qiao beca even more annoyed, damn, she absolutely hated this man’s appearance, his face showing no emotion at all, completely inscrutable.
