"Then why the hell are you still blabbering?"
Lu Jingchen narrowed his eyes slightly, reached up to draw back the curtains of the floor-to-ceiling window, and then walked out, his voice unchanged, "Just a habit."
Looking at the docunts before him, which had piled up over the past few days, many of them quite important, he felt his mood sour as even his secretary had to work overti. He spoke bluntly, "Spit it out if you have sothing to say, I’m damn busy."
Lu Jingchen, however, was unhurried, and spoke casually, "I seem to have forgotten what I was going to say. Let think for a mont."
Xi Mohan, "...Lu Jingchen, have you gone stupid? What’s the call for? If you’re not going to say it, I’m hanging up." He’d been at the hospital with Ning Wan these past few days, which left much of his company work incomplete, only managing to co in to catch up on Saturday.
Lu Jingchen remained silent.
After several seconds of silence on Xi Mohan’s end, there ca a cold laugh, "I wasn’t aware you had so much leisure to pester instead of keeping your wife company. Or is it that you’re planning on abandoning your wife for ?"
Lu Jingchen, "..." Looks like you’re the one that has gone stupid.
The man walked up to the railing, squinted into the distance. Behind this place was a forest where part of the land had even been developed into a greenhouse. These were all his father’s hobbies, simply cultivating various plants and flowers.
Just as Xi Mohan’s impatience was about to lead him to hang up the phone, Lu Jingchen spoke indifferently, "I want to secure the CK Group shares from the other shareholders within a month. Do you have any straightforward thods?"
He paused, then added, "Of course, it’s best if it’s not too troubleso. I don’t really have the ti to fuss over it."
Xi Mohan was in the middle of signing so papers when his hand froze, he frowned and asked, "Are you here to order around, or to ask for my advice?"

Xi Mohan put down his pen and leaned back in the leather boss chair, a casual posture as he massaged his forehead, speaking faintly, "You want the shareholders’ stakes and you want no trouble, do you think it’s that easy? I don’t believe you don’t understand those people."
"It’s because I understand them too well that I’m asking you." Downstairs in the dining room, Lu Tianming had an extrely unsightly expression, just short of dropping a cold face. The butler had reported that Lu Jingchen was not coming down for dinner, which made him lose face in front of Yu Xia’s parents.
But Lu Tianming didn’t expect that the real loss of face was yet to co.

She is not your wife. I’ve already said that unless I, Lu Tianming, am dead, don’t expect to acknowledge any inappropriate woman you bring ho."
Lu Jingchen simply curled his lips, responding indifferently, "It doesn’t matter if you don’t recognize her. Xiao Qiao and I are already married, Dad. This ti we’re just here to inform you. Since you don’t like Xiao Qiao, we won’t appear before you anymore. You’ve hurt her just now, but I won’t hold it against you. Xiao Qiao isn’t so petty; she won’t bla you."
