As the elevator doors closed again, Lu Jingchen took out his cell phone from his jacket, glanced at the screen showing no missed calls, and after a mont’s thought, he found Song Qiao’s phone number and dialed it, putting it to his ear.
Zuo Yuqing saw Lu Jingchen take out his phone and call Song Qiao, her expression freezing, but she kept silent and turned her gaze to the elevator floor indicator changing numbers.
For Lu Jingchen, Zuo Yuqing had already given up completely. She knew she wasn’t good enough for this influential and high-status man. Her unwillingness from before led to many mistakes and hurt Song Qiao, causing her injury. In the end, when Zuo Yuqing finally saw everything clearly, she felt very remorseful.
