Chu Munan’s voice wasn’t intentionally lowered; in fact, it felt like it could be turned up. Not only could Song Qiao right in front of him hear everything loud and clear, but Lu Jingchen and the others could also catch every single word without missing a beat.

The man’s handso face imdiately darkened, rage spreading throughout his body from his heart, as his voice practically burst forth from deep within his throat, "Song Qiao, am I really that unworthy of your trust? There is absolutely nothing between and Zuo Yuqing; how many more tis do I need to explain this to you?"
Perhaps he inherently disliked explaining himself, and at that mont, his face was filled with impatience.
For a mont, his heart, which was already quite hard, grew even harder as he watched her speak with a faint smile.

Lu Jingchen was clearly furious, storming and plundering his way through as if he couldn’t wait to devour her.
