Not getting the answer he wanted, or even the ideal response he expected, Lu Jingchen’s face darkened as he turned her body back to face him, gazing down at her delicate face, "I’ve already said I love you now, and you have nothing to say in return?"

Song Qiao looked at his face, which showed almost no emotion, completely unable to figure out what kind of tantrum he was throwing. Her voice was tinged with a chilly smile, "What do you think I should say to you?"

He let go of her shoulders, straightened up, an inexplicable sense of frustration brewing inside him. After taking a deep breath, it took him a while to open his thin lips and utter the words, "It’s nothing."

When Song Qiao walked out in her wedding dress, everyone’s eyes in the bridal shop were instantly filled with astonishnt. The shop owner even praised Song Qiao as the most beautiful woman she had ever seen in a wedding dress.

Towards such complints, Song Qiao showed no change in expression. Looking at herself in the mirror, she reached out to pull her long hair forward.

Her hair was very straight, almost reaching her waist. When she went to the salon before for treatnt, they suggested she should curl it—firstly because her hair was long enough, secondly, because she had plenty of it, and thirdly, because with her face, curled hair would look much better.

However, she didn’t like to style her hair. If she curled it, it might look good initially, but over ti, if not well-maintained, it would turn into a style that’s neither curly nor straight.

Looking at her waist, it seed too slim, so she casually asked, "Could you make the waist part a bit smaller?"

The waist of the wedding dress wasn’t tight enough, probably too loose, but it didn’t matter much. Yet, Song Qiao thought it would be better to have it adjusted.

Lu Jingchen’s face hadn’t looked good since they arrived, anyone could tell he was in a bad mood.

Everyone cautiously tried to lower their presence, fearing they might get in trouble without understanding why.

The shop owner imdiately approached when she heard Song Qiao’s words, cautiously asking, "Mrs. Lu, do you want it altered smaller?"

Song Qiao nodded, pinching her waist which had little flesh, "My waist is too small, the waist design here is a bit loose, can it be adjusted?"

"Of course, it can be adjusted..."

"No need to adjust!" Before the shop owner could finish, Lu Jingchen interrupted coldly, his expression calm, "There’s still half a month until the wedding, just eat more during this period and let the waist gain so weight."

Song Qiao, "..." She was left speechless.

Thinking it over, she felt the man’s suggestion wasn’t without reason. There were still half a month left; maybe during this ti, she could eat and gain so weight on her waist. If that truly happened, altering it now and ending up unable to wear it for the wedding would be a big issue.

Since Lu Jingchen had already spoken, the shop owner naturally didn’t dare say anything more, quickly stepping aside to try to lower her presence, most worried about becoming collateral damage from a couple’s argunt.

Song Qiao looked at herself in the mirror wearing the wedding dress, felt there were no major issues, and liked this wedding dress style very much. She then glanced at the man standing there radiating low pressure, asking, "Aren’t you going to try on your suit?"

The woman’s voice was soft and gentle, seemingly deliberately lowered as if to please, her eyes glistening.

Ultimately, he couldn’t harden his heart towards this little woman; as long as she was willing to yield, he would forgive her.

When did he beco so soft-hearted, even he didn’t know.

His tone was considerably gentler as Lu Jingchen replied, "My suit hasn’t arrived yet. When it does, I’ll try it on. If there’s no issue, take it off and I’ll take you ho first; I need to return to the company."

Song Qiao simply said "Oh," and went straight into the fitting room to change out of the wedding dress.

This ti, Lu Jingchen didn’t enter to help; instead, he had the shop owner assist her. When she ca out after changing, she saw Lu Jingchen discussing matters with the store owner.

Seeing her co out, Lu Jingchen walked directly up to her, "Changed?"

Song Qiao nodded, smiling, "Let’s go."

...

Regarding the wedding arrangents, Song Qiao didn’t need to lift a finger; everything was handled by Lu Jingchen and his subordinates.
