Fortunately, Elder Mu is not feeling well and couldn’t co to the wedding; Aunt Zhang stayed at Mu Mansion to take care of him. Before the wedding, Song Qiao and Lu Jingchen went to the mansion, saying they would later serve tea to Elder Mu there. Ning Wan and Mrs. Lu are close friends, so surely if Miss Ning persuades her, it will work. She added, "Mrs. Lu hasn’t co down to eat anything since she returned. She hasn’t eaten a grain of rice since morning. I’ve already prepared dinner; Miss Ning, please persuade her to co down to eat sothing."

Song Qiao paused, not directly answering the question, instead stepping aside to invite them in, "Co inside and have a seat."
Ning Wan didn’t continue her questioning but entered the bedroom with Mu Shinian.
On the bedroom floor, many dates and peanuts lay scattered, the bed sheets were in disarray, likely from pulling down the fruits and nuts. On the wall hung a beautifully idyllic wedding photo, worthy of a magazine cover. Even the French windows and wardrobe were adorned with bright red double happiness symbols.
Entering the bedroom, Song Qiao went directly to the sofa and sat down, gesturing for Ning Wan and Mu Shinian to sit as well.
