"But there seem to be a lot of people, so many fans, I’m afraid we might not be able to squeeze through." Ghost looked at the sea of excited fans shouting, feeling a bit concerned. This crowd was packed so tightly that if soone ended up with an internal injury, it wouldn’t be good. He couldn’t quite understand what got into these fans, as if they were high on adrenaline.
As they spoke, Gu Xin’s eyes were fixed on Ghost’s face, showing a "you know what I an" expression.
"Hey, speak up, that look is creepy." Ghost couldn’t help but shiver slightly; with that expression, it surely wasn’t anything good.
"I want an autograph."
"You want to get an autograph for you, don’t you?" Ghost’s face suddenly drooped; indeed, if it’s not a blessing, it’s a disaster, and there’s no avoiding disaster.
Such a fervent fan, if he squeezed for an autograph, he might "slim down" a bit...
"Yeah, yeah, I’m so weak, how can I squeeze into the crowd?" Gu Xin was almost pouting, and Ghost certainly couldn’t resist, quickly agreeing to her request. No choice, being a boyfriend ans being prepared to do the heavy lifting.
"Alright then, you wait here, and I’ll co find you once I get the autograph." Ghost nodded in agreent.
"Hehe, great, the concert’s about to start."
"The concert is starting soon. Everyone, please give a warm round of applause for the Rose Band’s lead, Miss Lii, and the other band mbers." As the host’s voice fell, all the spotlights on stage aid at the woman in red attire. With her long red gauze dress of classical style, she had an alluring tall stature, fair skin paired with the bright red fabric, captivating, with eyes resembling crescent moons, extrely enchanting. No wonder many guys were fans, and even the other band mbers were all beauties."
After a few songs, the audience started to "go crazy," continuously shouting Lii’s na. Objectively speaking, Lii’s singing was indeed impressive, her high notes quite "entrancing," but were those fans getting overly excited? Maybe it’s because Ghost already had Gu Xin in mind, so he wasn’t particularly thrilled after listening.
"Next, I would like to invite a lucky audience mber up to interact with ." After a song, Lii suddenly made a suggestion; interacting with fans was quite common. Many celebrities would select so "lucky fans" during concerts to join for interaction, creating closer connections.
"."
"Pick ."
As soon as those words fell, a tumult of voices rose from the crowd, and several male fans even tried to rush the stage but were stopped by security. From one standpoint, the level of security can also reflect a celebrity’s popularity.
"So, do you want to go up there?" Ghost turned and looked at Gu Xin beside him. Like the other fans, Gu Xin had fallen into "mania," shouting Lii’s na non-stop.
"Of course, but with so many people here, how could I be chosen?" Gu Xin was very excited, but she hadn’t "lost her mind," after all, being chosen was a rare chance. Looking around, packed with people, the chance of getting picked was slimr than winning the lottery.
"Well, gotta try raising your hand, right? I’ll help you." As he spoke, Ghost raised his hand. Gu Xin nodded and raised her hand too. The spotlight above swept across the crowd, everyone hoping to beco that lucky one.
"Let’s see which fan will be chosen. Three, two, one, stop."
"Hiss." Suddenly, Ghost felt a flash of bright light, making him squint and quickly raise a hand to shield his eyes.
Regaining his senses, Ghost finally saw that it was the dozen or so spotlights overhead all directed at him, lighting him up like a "glowing man."
"Li, you were chosen." Before Ghost could adjust to the bright lights, his arm was gripped firmly. Turning to look, Gu Xin was excitedly shaking his arm.
"What, I was chosen?" It dawned on Ghost. "That’s great, you can go up now."
"That’s great, it seems the lucky fan has been chosen. Could the gentleman in the second row please co up?" Lii’s lips curled up slightly, picking up the microphone to indicate Ghost’s direction. As the spotlight fell, everyone’s attention was focused on Ghost, filled with envy, jealousy, and resentnt. Several staff approached Ghost, signaling him to hurry up to the stage.
"You’ve misunderstood, I didn’t an to go on stage, I’m raising my hand for my girlfriend." Ghost quickly explained, he definitely didn’t want to step onto the stage. His personality was low-key, and if he went on, he’d be "exposed" by Rose Band’s fan club tomorrow.
"Sir, please co up and don’t delay everyone’s ti." Several staff mbers ignored Ghost’s explanations and insisted he co up. Earlier Lii did say to invite a gentleman. If Gu Xin were to go up, it would undoubtedly be a joke.
"I said, the one ant to go up was my girlfriend." Ghost said while pulling Gu Xin up.
"Alright, or maybe it’s fine. Li, you should go up for ; it’s your lucky chance." Gu Xin saw this, worried a conflict might arise, so she took a step back. Though she wanted to go on stage and interact, she didn’t want to see her boyfriend embarrassed in public.
"This... but."
"It’s okay, but you better get an autograph." Gu Xin muttered, gently pushing Ghost forward.
"Seems this gentleman is a bit shy; how about we give so applause?" Lii said with a smile, alleviating the awkwardness, and eventually Ghost reluctantly went on stage, exchanging a handshake with Lii. From a close distance, Lii appeared even more alluring.
"How would you like to be addressed, sir?"
"Gu Li."
"Do you listen to any songs normally?" Lii casually asked, during concerts, singers often picked audience mbers to sing along. Generally, considerate fans would choose an original work by the singer. But to Ghost, he really didn’t know any songs Lii had sung.
"Sorry, I don’t know any." As Ghost’s words fell, the audience couldn’t help but gasp, even Gu Xin wanted to dig a hole to bury herself. This clearly embarrassed Lii, attending a concert without knowing any of her songs might seem like he’s purposely ruining the event.
"Don’t misunderstand; actually... I was raising my hand for my girlfriend earlier. She wanted to go up, but I got chosen. Those staff didn’t heed my explanations, so I was sort of forced up." Ghost realized he embarrassed Lii, promptly explaining to everyone.
