Since she had found Ji Qian, there was no need to maintain the intelligence network anymore.

That basent was extrely hidden; even Ye Shikai had found it by chance.

The next day, Yanjing Airport.
“Sister, are you really leaving?” Ji Yu looked up eagerly, her big eyes showing a pitiful expression.
“It’s not like we won’t be in contact anymore.
I still have a lot to do abroad,” Ji Qian patted Ji Yu’s head.
“I know, you must still be thinking about ho…”
“Enough, don’t say it,” Ji Qian suddenly growled lowly, startling Ji Yu to silence.
A flicker of sothing crossed Ye Shikai’s eyes.
“Alright, I’m leaving, don’t miss too much,” feeling a bit out of character, Ji Qian quickly hugged Ji Yu.
“Take care on the road and let know when you arrive,” after the airport’s boarding reminder sounded, Ye Shikai gave Ji Qian a hug.
“You too, live well in Huaxia,” Ji Qian finished speaking and, as if possessed, kissed Ye Shikai on the lips.
Two seconds later, she revealed a faint smile, turned around, and boarded the plane, leaving Ji Yu beside her utterly bewildered.
“Brother-in-law, brother-in-law.”
“When did you and my sister get together?”
“Brother-in-law, have you done that with my sister?”
On the way, Ji Yu’s attitude towards Ye Shikai took a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree turn because of Ji Qian’s parting kiss, chirping endlessly, as if she had already determined Ye Shikai to be her brother-in-law, exactly the sa as Su Ziqing.
“Alright, the people who ca to pick you up are here, you can go,” Ye Shikai pulled the Lexus over to the curb.

Ye Shikai didn’t imdiately go to find Tianjing but instead headed to the area of Huatao Bridge.
“Guys, what are you all doing?” Ye Shikai walked to the riverbank and saw many cranes, and taking advantage of a pause, Ye Shikai asked one of the workers.
“Hey, didn’t the Huatao Bridge collapse?
So parts of the bridge need to be salvaged,” replied a crane operator, taking a drag off his cigarette.
“A big bridge, only open for a few days, then collapsed, and so many people died,” the crane operator felt so emotion.
Ye Shikai was once again reminded of that day’s scene, sending shivers down his spine.
Ye Shikai saw that the riverbank already had several salvaged bridge segnts, and those piers stood erect in the water.
Ye Shikai climbed onto one pier, where several steel rebars were still connected.
Inspecting closely, he saw that many of the rebars were already corroded.
He took a chunk of concrete from the top of the pier and cut out a piece of rebar.
At that mont, Ye Shikai’s phone rang.
Glancing at the caller ID, to his surprise, it was a call from Tianjing.
“Hello, Tianjing, what’s up?” Ye Shikai spoke while holding the phone and looking at the piece of rebar.
“What, the blood test report is out?” Ye Shikai was taken aback.
The National Security Bureau’s efficiency is indeed high.
“Okay, wait for , I’m on my way,” Ye Shikai hurriedly hung up the phone and drove the Lexus directly to the headquarters of the National Security Bureau.

“Tianjing, let see the lab report,” Ye Shikai excitedly took the lab report from Tianjing, but as he read, his expression grew increasingly grave, as if he had seen sothing terrifying.
“Chiric blood, what does that an?” Ye Shikai pointed to a line on the chart and asked.
“In the blood, we’ve detected DNA from two different organisms,” a person who looked like a doctor said.
“Which two organisms?” Ye Shikai stared at the doctor, serious.
“One is a moth, and the other is…” the doctor hesitated to continue.
“What is it?” Ye Shikai’s tone grew heavier.
“It’s human DNA.”
