“Captain, we et again.” The man smiled faintly and placed two bottles of beer on the table.
“Ouyang Feng, how co it’s you, lad.” As soon as Ye Shikai recognized the person, he laughed out loud, took the beer from the table, and they both downed a glass.
“Yes, it’s been a while since we last t in Hong Kong, and I didn’t expect to et again.” Ouyang Feng said heroically, which made Ye Shikai very happy, as if returning to his ti in the Dragon Teeth special forces.
“I’m now living in Yanjing, what about you?” Ye Shikai said with a smile.
“Where there’s a mission, that’s where the special forces are” Ouyang Feng said sowhat self-deprecatingly, draining his glass of beer. “That’s great. I’ll co to pick you up then.” Ouyang Feng laughed out loud, raising his glass “Co on, Captain, cheers.”
“Alright, cheers.” Ye Shikai also raised his glass, and they clinked their glasses, guzzling down the beer.

Su Qingyu was sowhat distractedly flipping through files, as she hadn’t been able to contact Ye Shikai for a whole day which was indeed worrying.
“President, here are the docunts Minister An asked to give you.” At this mont, a woman walked in, it was Ailina, as the leader of Netherworld Palace placed in the public relations departnt by Ye Shikai, Ailina’s task was to ensure Su Qingyu’s safety.
“Ailina, can you contact Ye Shikai? I haven’t been able to reach him for a whole day.” Seeing Ailina seed like seeing a lifesaver, Su Qingyu asked imdiately.
“He’s always like this, appearing and disappearing without a trace, don’t worry about it.” Ailina was taken aback by Su Qingyu’s question, but after collecting herself, she smiled reassuringly.
“I hope so,” Su Qingyu let out a long sigh of relief. Actually, Ye Shikai’s phone had been ruined when it fell into the water, so of course, it was unreachable. Fortunately, he had t Luo Shiqi, took so money, changed his clothes, and bought a new phone.
“Knock knock.” At this mont, the office door opened, and Ye Shikai walked in, his face flushed and breathless as if he was drunk.
“See, speak of the devil and he shall appear,” Ailina said with a smile, patting Ye Shikai’s shoulder before leaving the office.
“Where have you been all day, and drinking so much too?” Su Qingyu scolded, her tone softening as she quickly sensed sothing off, her expression suddenly changing. “These aren’t the clothes you wore this morning. Tell , did you go and cause trouble sowhere?”
“What are you talking about? I had a serious matter today,” Ye Shikai spoke, feeling dizzy and overwheld. He had t Ouyang Feng, a rare encounter, and had drunk a lot. He hadn’t expected to end up drunk, and had found a designated driver to take him back to the company.
Ye Shikai simply lay down on the couch, and Su Qingyu walked over to loosen his tie and unbutton his shirt, seeing that he was heavily intoxicated.
“What big matter? Trying to fool , you go drinking when there’s serious business?” Su Qingyu snorted coldly, but still poured a glass of water for Ye Shikai to drink.
“Ha-ha, I t with an old combat pal and accidentally drank too much,” Ye Shikai was drunk, but not blackout drunk, still aware of himself.
“Now I really should throw you out onto the street,” Su Qingu hit Ye Shikai’s chest a few tis and snorted coldly, then whispered in complaint, “You never focus on work properly, always causing trouble.”
Su Qingyu turned her head back, only to be t by the sound of Ye Shikai snoring, he had fallen asleep…
“Zhuang Yan, can you get a blanket?” Su Qingyu said with a gentle smile, carefully covering Ye Shikai with the blanket. No matter what Ye Shikai was like or how he had changed, as long as he was happy, Su Qingyu was content.

Ye Shikai woke up to find himself in the company, with Su Qingyu sleeping on a sofa nearby. Shaking his head, he finally rembered last night’s events.
“You’re awake,” the noise of Ye Shikai getting up woke Su Qingyu. Although they were in the company, the CEO’s office had a designated resting room where they could brush and wash up, so they both freshened up there.
“Qingyu, I need to take a leave today,” Ye Shikai said while combing his hair in front of the mirror.
“Where are you off to now?”
“I ran into a combat buddy yesterday, planning to visit the military camp today, and see so old brothers,” Ye Shikai spoke truthfully. He had intended to say this last night, but he was already drunk then, so he brought it up now.
“Alright then, go early and co back early,” after listening, Su Qingyu nodded her head and then complained, “You always know how to take leave. Don’t make deduct your salary.”
“Is that so? Seems like I need to take a backdoor,” Ye Shikai said softly, teasingly scraping Su Qingyu’s nose, “As the CEO’s husband, don’t I have so privileges?”
“No,” Su Qingyu said sternly.
“Okay, then I might have to talk to Dad about this,” Ye Shikai joked. But upon ntioning Su Pengzhan, he rembered yesterday’s conversation with Luo Shiqi. When he returned to Huaxia and married Su Qingyu, it was Su Pengzhan’s decision; but how did he convince Jin Li, the Director of National Security?
