Just as Chen Yuxin was about to raise her hand, Ye Shikai held it down firmly on his thigh, giving her a subtle look. Chen Yuxin regarded Ye Shikai as the most important person, and now soone dared to mock him; Ye Shikai himself didn’t feel offended, but Chen Yuxin, who ca from a noble family, cared greatly about her image. She would rather be mocked herself than tolerate even a slight insult directed at Ye Shikai. Now, she was eager to retaliate, thankful that Ye Shikai had promptly stopped her.
