Chapter 610: Chapter 610: Anna Cos to Huaxia

In a certain sense, Ye Shikai and Zeus have an irreconcilable “grudge” between them, which is unrelated to personal experiences. Ye Shikai is the Netherworld King, while Zeus is the Divine King. In one world, how can two sovereigns coexist? If they could, it would be a mockery of the very concept of “king,” and thus, it is destined that only one of them can exist.

So, if Ye Shikai doesn’t kill Zeus, Zeus will certainly co to kill Ye Shikai, trying again and again, until one is dead…

Ye Shikai has resolved that one day, sooner or later, he must kill Zeus to eliminate future troubles, but definitely not now.

For now, he could only have the warriors of Netherworld Palace be a little more cautious of Zeus, to prevent him from doing sothing outrageous, especially during the wedding.

“Ye Shikai, is that you?” At this mont, a gentle and soft voice sounded from behind Ye Shikai. He turned his head to see a golden-haired, fair-skinned stunningly beautiful woman smiling at him, exuding a noble aura from head to toe.

“You are… Princess Anna.” Ye Shikai was sowhat face-blind, but this face was indeed too beautiful. He would not forget it after seeing it just once.

“Do you still rember ?” Anna asked with a faint smile. As a British royal princess, she was not only the embodint of beauty but also a true noble. In Europe, she was often called “Angel,” which showed her imnse personal charm. And how many people could get an Angel to greet them personally?

“Of course, last ti at Holy Mountain, thank you for saving my wife.” Ye Shikai smiled faintly. He had a good impression of the stunning Western beauty in front of him, especially after learning from Su Qingyu that the masters of the English church, under the pressure of Zeus, nearly handed Su Qingyu over to him but thanks to Anna’s insistence in protecting her. Ye Shikai gave Anna a deep bow, which left her sowhat flustered, and she quickly told him to stand up.

“By the way, what brings you here?” Ye Shikai asked curiously, knowing that the British royal family’s travel schedule was usually publicized. If there was no other major event, Anna shouldn’t be abroad.

“I’m going to Huaxia to attend a conference, but I need to transfer flights here,” Anna stated frankly, revealing the purpose of her journey. She then joked with a smile, “So, what brings our Lord of Netherworld King to Europe?”

“I ca to see an old friend, to invite her to my wedding.” Ye Shikai turned to call Ji Qian, only to find that she had already left without him noticing.

“You… you are getting married?” Anna’s voice faltered a little after hearing this. She had always had a crush on Ye Shikai. If it weren’t for the fact that he already had a legal wife, she would have pursued him, despite being a royal princess and him being a king of the Underworld. She didn’t care about status; love had nothing to do with right or wrong. So, when she found out Ye Shikai had a wife, she was deeply disappointed. Although she accepted this reality, she couldn’t hide her feelings, hence her discomfort upon hearing about Ye Shikai’s wedding.

“Yes,” Ye Shikai nodded.

“Can I co?” After about ten seconds, Anna mustered the courage to ask, which left Ye Shikai startled. The British royal princess attending his wedding? What kind of situation was this? And if Su Qingyu asked about it, how would he explain?

“Of… of course, having the Princess attend would be an honor,” Ye Shikai said in surprise. She wanted to co; he couldn’t possibly refuse, especially since she was a princess.

“Here’s the invitation.” Ye Shikai hurriedly took an invitation from his bag, wrote Anna’s na in the invitee section with a fountain pen, and handed it to her with both hands.

“Thank you, I’ll be going to Huaxia anyway, and I will definitely arrive on ti.” Anna carefully put away the invitation and handed it to her attendant.

“Alright, good.”

“By the way, are you on today’s flight?” Anna asked with a smile.

“Yes.” Ye Shikai handed his ticket to Anna for a glance.

“Change my flight to this one,” Anna told her attendant.

“Your Highness, but you are scheduled for a private flight. Changing to a comrcial one might be inappropriate,” the attendant hesitated, knowing that Anna was different from ordinary people. As a royal princess, her every move represented the nation, and safety was of paramount importance. To change a flight so suddenly could be troubleso in the event of an accident.

“It’s okay, book a first-class ticket for this flight,” Anna said with a smile, glancing at Ye Shikai. “He is the bravest knight in the world; there’s no one safer than as long as he is around.”

“Your Highness, you flatter .”

…………………………

“Recently, things here seem to be unstable; there was even a terrorist bombing incident.” On the plane, Anna picked up the latest newspaper. The terrorist attack at the amusent park was undoubtedly the headline. Ye Shikai stayed silent. He was involved in the whole thing, and besides the terrorist who was more bark than bite, Zeus was undoubtedly the biggest accomplice. He didn’t want to get Anna involved in this matter.

“Yes, luckily it was dealt with in ti,” Ye Shikai said nonchalantly.

“Why was it Hong Kong’s SAD that went to rescue the hostages?” Anna asked curiously while looking at the newspaper.

“Because they happened to be there for joint training,” Ye Shikai blurted out, then imdiately realized he might have said too much.

“How do you know?”

“Uh, I’m good friends with the leader of SAD, and I happened to be there at the ti, so that’s how I know,” Ye Shikai said, covering up.

“Good friends? I didn’t expect you to have such a connection,” Anna nodded, intrigued.

“Yes, because I once served in the military and t them, and we even trained together.”

“Your Highness, lunch is served,” a female attendant respectfully brought in a plate at that mont, a steak with red wine, very generous.

“Serve him a portion too,” Anna casually ordered, and the attendant quietly complied before leaving.

“Are you hungry? Go ahead and eat,” Anna said, pushing the lunch toward Ye Shikai.

“I’m not hungry; you eat,” Ye Shikai courteously declined, and then Anna began to eat.

Suddenly, the plane shook violently, and Anna, who was tasting her wine, spilled it, drenching her pristine white dress, creating a particularly jarring sight.
