"What? How could sothing like this happen?" After a brief recounting of events, Ji Qian and Wang Kai understood what had happened – Luo Shiqi was kidnapped, and Ye Shikai "fled the wedding" to rescue her.
"How could he do that? What about Miss Su?" Ji Qian said, displeased.
"You and Anna think alike." Ghost grimaced; both won thought that leaving Su Qingyu behind to fend for herself was an utterly irresponsible act.
"Of course. While a wedding is important, life and death take precedence, not to ntion it’s soone important to Old Ye." Wang Kai imdiately chid in.
"That’s because you n don’t understand the significance of a wedding ceremony to a woman." Ji Qian rolled her eyes, highlighting that won are emotional creatures. To them, feelings are of utmost importance. A man fleeing his own wedding and leaving the bride alone on the stage is akin to a fate worse than death, not to ntion the bride will carry a lifeti of stigma.
"Brothers are like limbs, won are like clothes," Wang Kai retorted with a sneer.
"So, Anna went up to sing to buy ti?" Wang Kai wanted to laugh, but he was t with an angry glare from Ji Qian and quickly changed the subject.
"Yes, the effect wasn’t bad, I guess. At least it’s grumbling without complaint," sighed Ghost.
"The priority now is to bring him back imdiately." As Ji Qian was talking, her face showed a look of panic and she got up, intending to head outside.
"Sis." At this mont, a gentle voice sounded behind the three of them.
"Yu, why are you here?" Surprised to see the newcor, of course, it was Ji Qian’s younger sister, Ji Yu.
"I’m here to attend Miss Su’s wedding, haha. I didn’t expect he’d really keep his word and that you’d actually co because he asked." Ji Yu hugged Ji Qian tightly, snuggling up to her chest like a kitten.

At this ti, a man and a woman hurried through the entrance, and Ghost quickly went to greet them.
"Sorry I’m late. I hope I haven’t missed Mr. Ye and Miss Su’s wedding," the man said in a Hong Kong accent. He slowly took off his sunglasses, revealing a handso face beneath.
"Mr. Wu, welco. The wedding hasn’t started yet; please take a seat," Ghost recognized the visitor as the chairman of Wu Group, one of the top three enterprises in Hong Kong, Wu Yu.
"Wait, there’s too. I’ve co to attend my master’s wedding." At this ti, the girl behind Wu Yu also sprang out, appearing very young, around the sa age as Su Qingyu.
"May I ask who you are...?" Ghost looked at the face of the woman, racking his brain but sure he did not know her.
"Hong Kong, Xu Han, Ye Shikai is my master," said Xu Han proudly.
"I see, please take a seat." Ghost turned to Mr. Wu and said respectfully, "Mr. Wu, please take a seat as well."
"Isn’t that the chairman of the Wu Group from Hong Kong? How co he’s here?"
"And oh, that girl next to him, she’s the precious daughter of the Xu Group from Hong Kong, a very distinguished identity." The crowd below started discussing again; this wedding was a congregation of bigwigs—businessn, politicians, celebrities, all significant figures.
"Lord Moon God, Lord War God, I’ve sent you the address already. I must stay here to attend to the guests and can’t accompany you," apologized Ghost. Indeed, with the ergency at hand, everything needed Ghost’s imdiate attention.
"It’s alright; we can go on our own."
Once the two had left, Ghost was about to return to the scene when a call interrupted him – it was Short-nosed Crocodile on the line.
"Hello, what happened?" Ghost answered the call, instinctively speaking, and two seconds later, his face was filled with astonishnt.
"What? You’ve all been stopped?"

"Can’t you drive any faster?"
"I’m already driving fast, don’t rush ." Wang Kai responded impatiently, stepping hard on the accelerator, speeding the car up to 120 mph.
"I wonder if Old Ye has arrived yet. I’d like to see who’s trying to kidnap her and spoil my brother’s big day."
"Sssss." Suddenly, a sharp sound of screeching brakes filled the air as a sedan ca to a halt directly in front of their vehicle. Wang Kai braked hard, and at that mont, several vans swiftly surrounded their car from one side, effectively trapping them in the middle.
"Who are they?" Ji Qian had a bad premonition.
"I don’t know, but they don’t co with good intents."
"Thump, thump, thump." From the vans, dozens of fully ard guards rushed out, guns trained on the car, encircling it completely.
"National Security Bureau, arresting a fugitive," Tianjing’s voice rang out from behind the guards.

Yanjing, western suburbs.
"Shiqi, are you in there?" Ye Shikai searched the first floor of the villa and found no one, so he hurried to the second floor. Sure enough, a series of heavy footsteps ca from above, and Ye Shikai excitedly followed the noise, only to find Luo Shiqi tied to a chair, her mouth sealed.
"Holy crap." Ye Shikai exclaid, rushing to Luo Shiqi’s side, he tore the tape from her mouth and untied her ropes.
"Shiqi, are you alright?" Ye Shikai channeled Inner Strength into Luo Shiqi’s body, feeling how weak she was, indicating she must have been kidnapped for a long ti.
"Cough cough... I’m... I’m fine." Luo Shiqi stood up weakly, almost collapsing before Ye Shikai hurriedly supported her.
"Idiot, what about your and Qingyu’s wedding? Can’t you see this is a trap?" Luo Shiqi managed to say weakly.
"If I just let you die like this, not just , even Qingyu wouldn’t forgive ." Ye Shikai picked up Luo Shiqi, and just as he was about to leave, all the windows in the room were suddenly sealed shut.
