Beastn have tough skin and flesh. Neither bullets nor flas can kill them directly, but flas can deter them. Sure enough, once the Fire Elent was unleashed, the beastn dared not approach any longer.

Suddenly, a towering beastman leapt in front of them. Over two ters tall, clad in armor made of bones, and holding a long knife stained with blood, its fierce countenance and two horns on its head were unmistakeable – it was the beastn’s commander who cleaved the rocket launcher with a single strike.
“Mona, you lead the others to hold the fort, leave this beastman to ,” Ye Shikai sensed a murderous and bloody intent that chilled one to the bone as if surrounded by an endless hell, tornted by ghosts. Only those who have endured bloodbath after bloodbath could possess such a bloody aura. The beastn clan, long acquainted with plunder and slaughter, naturally had this bloodlust, but Ye Shikai felt that this beastman commander’s abilities went far beyond that.
“How could that be possible? This is our Elves’ enemy, how could I possibly hide away?” Mona took a step forward, positioning herself in front of Ye Shikai.
“Let do this,” Ye Shikai drew his sword. He never let a woman take the lead in battle. While beastn lacked cultivation, their physical bodies were extrely tough and they possessed rich combat experience. Indeed, they were even more formidable than an average cultivator in a fight.
“Then we shall fight together.” Mona’s blade turned as she moved swiftly, striking with lightning speed. In the blink of an eye, her blade had already thrust towards the throat of the beastman leader.

To Mona’s surprise, the Elf Sword didn’t even scratch the beastman, let alone wound it. This level of defensive power was not just tough skin and flesh; it was downright impenetrable.
With a great roar from the beastman, Mona felt a shudder in her hand, a numbing sensation spreading up her arm, forcing her body to stagger backwards several steps.
“Are you alright?” Ye Shikai supported Mona, as the beastman commander revealed an extrely ferocious “smile” at the corner of his mouth.
“I’m fine.”
Ye Shikai gripped his sword tightly and pushed off the ground with force, leaping towards the beastman commander, his hands slashing down mightily.
“Bang.” The beastman parried with its war knife, creating sparks as it collided with Ye Shikai’s sword. Ye Shikai felt as if he had struck an iron plate, unable to press it down at all, attesting to the beastman commander’s imnse strength, which was terrifyingly formidable.
Taking advantage of the montum, Ye Shikai sorsaulted in the air, aiming a kick at the beastman commander’s chest. To his surprise, his body was the one pushed back, while the beastman commander remained unshaken.
“Damn it.” Ye Shikai’s expression grew grave; when it ca to physical strength, he was no match for a beastman.
“Brat, don’t fight him head-on; this fellow’s body has been refined and is imnsely tough. You’re no match for him in close combat,” the voice of the Sword Spirit echoed in his mind, sensing that Ye Shikai was in trouble—and a big one at that.
“What should I do?”
“Try using the Fire Elent.”
Ye Shikai brought out the Fire Elent, channeling the Inner Strength from the Inner God Scripture like a torrent into the Fire Elent. A burst of intense fire shot out, the temperature so high that Ye Shikai felt it was almost beyond his control.
Roar…
The beastman commander stood still, and Ye Shikai was sowhat surprised. Amidst the flas, he faintly heard a “crackling” sound, which was the sound of skin being scorched by the fierce blaze. It seed that the Fire Elent was effective.
As the flas and the black smoke dissipated, Ye Shikai was shocked by the sight before him. The beastman commander’s body was red, with dark red cracks visible on the skin, as if it had been burned by the flas, but those two blood-red eyes indicated that he wasn’t injured.
Ye Shikai felt a surge of heat wave rolling in his Dantian; he had exhausted all his Inner Strength. A fishy taste was in his mouth, and fresh blood seeped from the corner of it. Had he reached his limit?
Ye Shikai’s legs were a bit wobbly, his body devoid of strength. He was barely able to keep himself standing by using his sword to lean on the ground.
A mocking laugh ca from the beastman, Ye Shikai’s complexion turned grave. Beastn were adept at attacking. If their defense was this terrifying, then what about their offense…
After taking a beating, the beastman commander eventually moved. Powering his legs, he raised his battle sword above his head and chopped down fiercely. Ye Shikai felt his heart lurch, and he positioned his sharp sword horizontally to block.
“Bang.”
The massive impact sent Ye Shikai flying, crashing hard against the Wooden Village gate. In that mont of exchange, he felt his arms go numb instantly, as if a thousand pounds were pressing down on his sword, leaving him with no avenue for retreat. Just one move and he couldn’t even block it.
A mouthful of fresh blood sprayed out, his white teeth stained red. Ye Shikai used his sword to prop himself up, his eyes blurring, nearly staggering and falling to the ground.
“You damn brat, hurry up and get inside. What are you stubbornly resisting for, seeking death?” the Sword Soul imdiately barked, more in reprimand than advice.
“Damn it.” Ye Shikai clenched his fists. Cheers erupted from the beastn’s ranks, a cheer for their commander.
“Tree Barrier.” At this mont, the Primordial Soul Great Elder on the wall took out a Crystal Ball, summoning a protective shield, separating Ye Shikai and the beastman commander.
“Are you alright?” Mona hurried over to help Ye Shikai up. An attack of that intensity, had it landed on an ordinary elf, wouldn’t have been withstood even once; this beastman commander was indeed terrifying to the extre.
“I’m fine.” Ye Shikai took out Quick Healing Pills from his Storage Ring and swallowed two. The pills turned into pure Inner Strength upon entering his body, replenishing his Dantian.
Roar roar.
The beastman commander lifted his sword and continued to shout, seemingly declaring war on Ye Shikai again, but right now, as the Sword Soul said, even if he were to fight again, there would be no chance of victory. Ye Shikai looked at the nearly shattered armor beneath him, feeling extrely anxious.

“Archers, fire your arrows.” In her urgency, Mona imdiately gave the order.
