“You really have guts.” Ye Shikai said blandly.

“Let’s talk inside.” Jin Li glanced at the demon exorcist, his face showing a complex expression. Despite being the dignified Director of National Security, he felt uneasy about collaborating with a wanted criminal, though it was necessary for the bigger picture.
There are no permanent friends or enemies, only permanent interests.
“Director Jin, I’ve heard of your reputation for a long ti. It’s a pleasure to et you today.” De extended his right hand, covered by a black leather glove. Jin Li glanced coldly but delayed extending his hand.
“Let’s get straight to business, about the collaboration.” Seeing this, Ye Shikai quickly interjected to prevent an awkward situation.
“Exorcist, we can work with you, but there are several conditions you must agree to.” Jin Li’s tone was indisputable; it was the premise and the bottom line, not a plea and not negotiable.
“No problem. Go ahead.” De nodded.
“You want to survive; I can agree to that. Having heard your story, you’re also a victim of the HST project. Essentially, you’re a victim, so you have the right to make demands. That’s one reason I’m willing to cooperate.” Jin Li’s words carried both authority and tact; in crude terms, it was because he pitied him.

“Our collaboration premise is to defeat Boss Xing together. If you play any tricks during this, I will kill you imdiately.” Jin Li’s words were a warning. Given the demon exorcist’s “record” of running away, precautions were necessary.
“I accept everything.” De nodded, not bargaining.
“Those are my requirents; now you can state yours.” Jin Li took a deep breath to calm down.
“I only hope you keep your promise, that’s all. I have no other requests.” De replied calmly.
“Alright, from now on, we are allied.” Jin Li nodded, and Ye Shikai also sighed in relief, having gotten through the most difficult “negotiation stage.”

“I won’t elaborate on Boss Xing’s basic information; the National Security Bureau mbers know more than I do.”

“I believe the place researching the first-generation drug was the biochemical industrial park?” Ye Shikai asked.
“Correct, although it was destroyed, their research data leaked. This ans that your last operation rely made Boss Xing and his group change locations.” De replied calmly.
“Damn it.” Tianjing cursed fiercely.
“Cunning as rabbits with multiple holes, Boss Xing surely has more than one research base.”
“Last ti, we rescued Dr. Li and his team. Without the team, how can they continue in-depth research?” Tianjing asked curiously.
“There are nurous gene engineering teams dostically and internationally besides Li Rongqi. Actually, abroad, there are even more excellent teams. However, Dr. Li was most involved in the HST project and knew the core details.” De shifted the topic. “If I’m not mistaken, they intended to kill witnesses, but you rescued the hostages just in ti.”
“You guessed it all right.” Ye Shikai clapped his hands gently, smiling.
“After all this, do you know where Boss Xing’s base is now?” Shen Wu suddenly slapped the table impatiently.

“Are you serious?” Ye Shikai couldn’t help but doubt; all, seed too absolute. Who knows if Boss Xing secretly hid a base.

“Boss Xing is extrely cunning. If sothing happens at a base, he will imdiately relocate.”

“So the only way to break them is to destroy all their strongholds at once.”
“Can you mark the locations?” Ye Shikai imdiately asked.
“No problem, please give a map.” Ye Shikai quickly handed over a map. De took a liner pen and circled on the Yanjing map. After ten minutes, the map had twelve black circles.
“Altogether twelve bases, including those in the suburbs, rural-urban areas, docks, and the city district. The distance between the two farthest bases is at least sixty to seventy kiloters.” De stated firmly.
“So many.” Tianjing couldn’t help but exclaim, seeing many points the National Security Bureau didn’t know before; De indeed had a lot of intelligence on Boss Xing.
“But we have limited personnel; how can we ensure simultaneous destruction of these twelve bases?”
