Ji Qian was dressed casually, in her pajamas. There was heating in the manor, so she did not feel cold. Ji Qian was initially planning to sit at the foot of the bed, but as she got close, she paused and chose to sit on a chair beside it instead.
“I noticed you seed a bit down, so I went and asked Ghost about it,” Ji Qian said hesitantly. She knew Ye Shikai didn’t like others prying into his personal affairs, even the closest ones. Everyone has so untouchable privacy deep in their hearts.
“Ghost and his big mouth,” Ye Shikai casually retorted.
“If it’s just a matter of finding a regular job, it shouldn’t be that hard,” Ji Qian said, having learned the ins and outs of the whole situation. Su Qingyu wanted Ye Shikai to find a ‘stable livelihood,’ even at the cost of ‘forcing’ him, but Ye Shikai seed to be evading, not wanting to face it. She didn’t understand what he was thinking.
