“What a domineering martial skill,” Ye Shikai couldn’t help but exclaim. In the darkness, he couldn’t make out the opponent’s figure or even their face.
“Who are you, and why do you want to kill ?” Ye Shikai shouted loudly. The opponent didn’t answer—no, they answered with their fist.
“Fire Elent.” Ye Shikai summoned the Fire Elent. In the darkness, it hovered like a fireball in the palm of his hand. Channeling his Inner Strength, Ye Shikai directed the Fire Elent at the black-clad person, a burst of flas lighting up the night.

“Qingqing, cover your ears, close your eyes.” Ye Shikai increased his speed, quickly taking cover behind a rock.

Several loud explosions echoed from behind. Using grenades was a last resort, but right now, it was the only way to survive.
“Qingqing, let’s go.” Taking advantage of the chaos among the black-clad assassins, Ye Shikai quickly fled to the side.

Ye Shikai took a punch, a figure flashing from the side. Wasn’t this the person who almost numbed his arm with a single palm earlier? Such strength, no way Ye Shikai could fail to recognize it.
“Damn.” Ye Shikai drew his tal sword. The man also drew a retractable sword. The two fought for dozens of rounds, neither gaining the upper hand. Just then, the other black-clad n arrived as well.
“Brother-in-law, save .” At this mont, Su Ziqing was being led out with a knife against her neck by two black-clad n. Ye Shikai’s heart sank—damn, those bastards had caught Su Ziqing. What should he do now?

“If I let her go, your life is mine.” The black-clad man in front of him spoke coldly, but the voice ca out of a voice changer, sounding chanic.
“Fine, I agree.” The black-clad man nodded, walked slowly toward Ye Shikai, and then suddenly took out a syringe, plunging it into Ye Shikai’s neck. He instantly felt his Inner Strength dissipate, and with Su Ziqing in their grip, Ye Shikai couldn’t risk any harm to her.
Ye Shikai fell to the ground, seemingly from a nerve control drug. He couldn’t feel his Inner Strength and was utterly weak. The black-clad man slowly drew a blade, intending to finish Ye Shikai.
“Brother-in-law, run!” Su Ziqing shouted, trying to break free, but those people held her tightly.
“Die.”
“Let see who dares to touch him.” At that mont, a delicate but fierce voice rang out from behind the crowd.
