Chapter 909: Chapter 909: Provocation at the eting
“Wow, there are quite a few people here.” As he pushed open the office door, at first glance, the room was full of people, with n and won in formal attire filling the seats. Many of those present had chosen the group for its potential.
A quick glance showed Chen Yuxin sitting to the side, with shareholders big and small occasionally glancing at her. The seating arrangent revealed so dynamics. Naturally, Su Qingyu sat in the center, with Chen Yuxin beside her on the right, right next to Su Qingyu. Although Chen Yuxin didn’t hold the second largest share, her own power was formidable. As the Chen family’s head and Chen Group’s chairman, she was a significant figure. Those shareholders glancing at her likely aid to curry favor. After all, she was a “Giant” figure, but seeing her seriously reviewing docunts, they dared not disturb her, fearing disruption and ending up in an awkward situation.
Chen Yuxin’s deanor inevitably overshadowed the host.
On Su Qingyu’s other side was An Lan. The two won were close friends, and An Lan was also a great helper, making her position justified. Ye Shikai looked around, finding no empty seats, which was awkward, though Su Qingyu was speaking with the shareholders. Such a trivial matter wouldn’t stump him.
Heading to the back, Ye Shikai finally found an empty seat, a “remote” spot in the corner. The initial seating was important, with more important people naturally sitting in conspicuous spots. A corner position was for those just playing bystanders.

“Since everyone is here, let’s begin the eting.” Su Qingyu said coldly, as everyone flipped through the docunts on their tables, outlining the company’s main progress and so details over the past year. Over the past year, Tianya Group’s most successful ventures were threefold: first, the group’s market value had doubled with the “indirect financial assistance” from the Netherworld Palace; second, the alliance with the Wu Family in Hong Kong; and third, Chen Group’s stake acquisition.
Interestingly, Luo Shiqi serving as Tianya Group’s consultant was sowhat expected, but her agreent back then was largely due to helping with negotiations in Hong Kong with the Wu Family, making Luo Shiqi’s consultant position more of a symbolic role.
“This year’s company performance has seen a major breakthrough, thanks to everyone’s contributions…”
“Of course, there are still so issues, such as…”
The eting felt like a principal’s speech under the national flag back in school, very dull, making one drowsy.
Ye Shikai didn’t care much about all this, though. Despite having no interest, he forced himself to listen out of respect for Su Qingyu, refraining from laying his head on the table to sleep, and instead picked up his phone to play mobile gas.
“So, does anyone have any matters to discuss?” Two hours later, Su Qingyu raised her head and asked coolly, leaving Ye Shikai impressed. These people appeared to be in their forties or fifties, yet after two hours of being “lectured,” they didn’t seem tired at all…
“President, I have sothing.” At this mont, a bald man stood up and spoke after glancing at everyone.
“Chairman Song, do you have sothing to say?” Su Qingyu’s expression instantly turned colder by a few degrees.
“President Su, although I am an outsider and shouldn’t interfere in your personal affairs, this matter involves the company’s upper managent and the interests of everyone present. I, Song Kai, have decided to speak up.” The man nad Song Kai said coldly, his eyes slowly falling on the corner where Ye Shikai sat.
“If Chairman Song has sothing to say, just say it directly.” Su Qingyu’s face grew slightly serious, and with just one look, she guessed Song Kai’s intention. In the company’s upper managent, not everyone shared the sa beliefs as Su Qingyu. Rather, they were opposition factions, and such high-level struggles exist in any group.
“I’ve heard that President Su gave five percent of the shares to your husband, is that so?”
“Of course, I’ve already sent out a ssage to inform everyone about it.” Su Qingyu said calmly, “Why, do you have sothing to say?”
“President, do you know if your husband is capable of managing these shares?” Song Kai’s words had a provocative tone, as these shares were originally Su Qingyu’s, and it was her business who she chose to give them to. The other shareholders had no right to comnt, much less since Su Qingyu was the president and chairman, holding the largest shares. Song Kai’s blatant provocation was likely preditated, using the matter of transferring shares to Ye Shikai to undermine Su Qingyu’s authoritative managent.
“Ahem, whether I have the capability is none of your concern.” Ye Shikai, sitting in the corner, realized it was ti to make a move. These little figures, to be blunt, could be wiped off the earth by the Netherworld Palace with a flick of a finger. In foreign territories dominated by the Netherworld Palace, nobody dared to challenge the Netherworld King like this.
Ye Shikai slowly stood up, and everyone’s eyes turned to him.

One was Su Qingyu, another was An Lan, and the last one was from Chen Yuxin.
Insulting Ye Shikai in front of so many people was intolerable to them. In reality, Ye Shikai wasn’t angry, as many who didn’t know better had insulted him before, only to et increasingly dire ends. Unexpectedly, this ti Ye Shikai wasn’t the one getting angry; instead, the won were the first to flare up.
“Oh, it seems that your contribution is significant.” Ye Shikai casually found a chair to sit down, crossing his legs, and said casually.
