"Kai, you should stay." Chen Yuxin said again, "It’s not easy to refuse Grandpa’s wishes."
"I’ve made up my mind. Tomorrow I’ll leave, Xin, you should stay a few more days to keep the senior company." Ye Shikai shook his head. "Xin has already told you." Ye Shikai was taken aback. He had just returned to Yanjing, and he had told Xin that he would say it himself. Why did Chen Yuxin do this?
"Ha, Xin, you call her so affectionately; then what do I count as?" Su Qingyu sneered, slowly stepping forward as Ye Shikai backed away. If this was true, then she must be furious now. The man beside her had slept with another woman, and now there was even a child. Even if Su Qingyu wanted to kill soone now, Ye Shikai wouldn’t doubt it.
"Qingyu, I know it’s all my fault, but you have to believe , I’ve always loved you."
"You bastard, I will never trust you again." Su Qingyu kicked him sharply in the abdon. Ye Shikai never expected the typically gentle Su Qingyu to explode with such force, feeling a sharp pain in his gut.

"Qingyu, if you really don’t believe , then I’ll prove it with my life." Enduring the intense pain in his abdon, Ye Shikai did not expect Su Qingyu, an ordinary person, could hurt him, a cultivator.

Being killed by the woman he loved most, Ye Shikai suddenly felt it was ironic. He once thought he might die at the hands of an enemy, or of old age, but never had he imagined this result. However... this outco was his own doing. If his death could make Su Qingyu forgive him, then so be it.
"Qingyu, if this makes you feel better, I’m willing to accept it." Ye Shikai felt his vision blur and his pupils dilate. This ti... he really was going to die.

A stone bed, a wooden table, wooden chairs, looking around, this was clearly a guest room. Ye Shikai felt his back, his shirt soaked with sweat, and looked to his bedside, where Chen Yuxin was sleeping soundly on one side.
So... it was a dream, quite a vivid one. Ye Shikai used a napkin to wipe away the cold sweat from his body. The nightmare he had just experienced still lingered before him, terrifying indeed. Was it really as they say, what you think about during the day appears in your dreams? If Su Qingyu knew about this, would she really kill him?
Being betrayed so cruelly, it would be normal for her to hate him.
