The reason Takeru wanted to learn magic was that he felt so magic could complent his abilities, making him more well-rounded. So far, the magic he used most was healing and purification.
Other magic included the Poison Dragon's magic, but its power was imnse and easily caused collateral damage, so Takeru rarely used it. This sowhat wasted the potential of his Gluttony ability.
But magic in this world was more developed, with various types. Even basic elental magic seed quite useful. For example, ordinary water flow… unless using Ninjutsu, Takeru couldn't create water out of thin air.
And Ninjutsu's power, even when Takeru controlled it carefully, was not negligible. If he just wanted to use water for washing normally, he couldn't exactly conjure a lake every ti. Magic would be simpler.
Takeru learning this world's script was also to study magic in the Forbidden Library.
"I see. That's fine." Hearing Takeru, Puck nodded lightly.
"Really? Thank you so much!" Hearing Puck agree, Takeru smiled happily.
"Alright, let first see what magical aptitudes you have. Magical attributes are divided into four basic types: fire, water, wind, and earth." Saying this, Puck floated to Takeru's front.
Then, using his tail, he touched Takeru's forehead. After a brief investigation, Puck was surprised.
"Amazing, Takeru! You actually possess all magical attributes, including Yin and Yang!" Puck exclaid.
"Is that so? That sounds really good." Hearing him, Takeru had already expected this. Whether it was Nen or Chakra, Takeru possessed all attributes, so having all magic attributes wasn't surprising at all.
"Eh? Takeru, you don't seem surprised at all." Seeing Takeru's calm reaction, Puck said, astonished.
"Mm-hmm. Due to so special reasons, I kind of expected it." Hearing him, Takeru didn't deny it.
"I see. In that case, let's try fire magic first. I'll guide the mana inside you. Magic itself will erge from your 'gate', but to avoid accidents, Lia and Felt should step back a bit." Puck said with a light laugh.
After the two moved away, Puck sat on Takeru's head.
"First, visualize the flow of mana inside you. Then, release part of that mana from your body through your 'gate'." Puck began guiding softly.
Guided by Puck's mana, Takeru quickly located the position of the gate. Surprisingly, this special gate was located between the [Gate of Opening] and [Gate of Healing] of the Eight Gates.
As Takeru controlled his mana to slowly flow to the gate's location, it manifested in the real world. Guided by Puck, it soon transford into blazing flas.
Sensing this, Takeru was amazed. It didn't seem difficult at all.
Of course, this was for Takeru. Whether it was psychic power, Aura, Chakra, or his coordination abilities, Takeru was top-tier. With his super-high Spirit, even without much training, his mana control was at a proficient level.
The process of converting mana into magic wasn't complex either. So, in simple terms, Takeru had completely morized it and essentially learned fire magic.
Of course, it was just the most basic fire magic. Spells like fireballs, firewalls, or fire blasts, though Takeru was confident he could easily achieve similar effects by shaping basic fire, were different. He could make fire into balls, walls, or compressed blasts through control.
But Takeru clearly felt the difference. Theirs were fixed, like following a specific operation, similar to Ninjutsu. A fireball was a fireball, a firewall was a firewall. Even if modified through magic, it was only changes in power and range, not turning a fireball into a firewall.
But their advantage was greater cohesion and lower mana consumption, like small skills.
Takeru simply controlled fire magic but lacked specific skill applications for fire magic...
"So amazing! Takeru, are you sure you never learned magic before?" Watching Takeru make a fire dragon dance gracefully, Puck was stunned.
"Of course." Hearing him, Takeru casually dismissed the fire dragon.
"Alright. Besides this, teach to convert mana into other elents." Then, Takeru said to Puck with a light laugh.
"I understand. Like this, convert to water. And wind. Finally, earth." Hearing Takeru, Puck instructed him.
Takeru quickly absorbed what Puck taught. When Takeru wanted to ask about Yin and Yang magic, Ram and Rem's appearance interrupted them.
"Emilia-sama, Roswaal-sama has returned. Please return inside, all three of you." The two spoke in unison.
Hearing them, Takeru, Emilia, and the others followed them to the dining hall.
"Oh? Betty, are you waiting here for ? Such a good, good girl." Upon entering, Takeru saw Beatrice in the corner and gently ruffled her smooth golden hair.
"Impudent! Betty is not waiting for you!" Hearing Takeru, Beatrice flushed and said, but didn't resist his touch.
"Nii-san, who is she?" Seeing Takeru suddenly being so friendly with an unfamiliar little girl, Felt asked warily.
"She's Beatrice. You can also call her Betty. Betty, let introduce you. This is my little sister, Felt." Hearing Felt, Takeru said with a light laugh.
"Hmph!" Hearing Takeru, Beatrice just snorted haughtily.
"Hello, Betty. Haven't seen you in four days. Have you been a lively, proper lady?" At that mont, Emilia entered the dining hall with Puck. Seeing Beatrice, Puck waved lightly.
"Bubby! Betty has been eagerly awaiting your return. Can we spend today together?" Hearing Puck's voice, Beatrice showed a delighted smile.
"Mm-hmm, no problem. Let's spend a rare, leisurely day together." Hearing Beatrice, Puck jumped into her hands.
Seeing this, Takeru sighed lightly, 'It seed I still need to work hard.'
"Surprised? Beatrice is really attached to Puck. But Takeru, how do you know Beatrice? You seem quite close." Emilia ca to Takeru's side with a light laugh, also surprised by Takeru's unusual relationship with Beatrice.
"That? We t twice last night." Hearing her, and seeing the curious, slightly tense Felt, Takeru said with a light laugh.
"Oh my, Beatrice is here too. How rare. After so many days, have you finally decided to dine with ? I'm so happy." At that mont, Roswaal, wearing clown makeup, entered the dining hall, speaking in a peculiar tone.
"One overly familiar fellow is already enough. Betty is only waiting for Bubby." Hearing Roswaal, Beatrice spoke bluntly.
"Eh? Do you have a clown for entertainnt before als? I don't get it." Seeing Roswaal, Felt said, puzzled.
"Felt, that's rude. This is Roswaal L. Mathers." Hearing Felt, Takeru spoke softly.
"Oho. Young man, you seem to know well! Yet I've never seen you before." Hearing Takeru, Roswaal said with a light laugh.
"How to put it? The Margrave of the Kingdom of Lugnica's borderlands, also one of the few magic users in the kingdom, known in the capital as the Chief Court Mage. It's hard not to know about you." Hearing him, Takeru sighed lightly.
"Is that so? How interesting." Hearing Takeru, Roswaal couldn't find any flaws for now and didn't say more.
Then, everyone sat in the dining hall. Ram and Rem quickly served food to Takeru and the others. After setting out five servings, they stood obediently behind Roswaal.
"Mm-hmm, truly excellent cuisine." Tasting the food, Takeru spoke softly.
This culinary skill was no worse than Takeru's own or Hinatsuru's. Though the ingredients and seasonings were simple, they brought out the food's natural flavors.
"Mhm, looks ordinary, but Rem's cooking tastes good." Hearing Takeru's praise, Roswaal spoke lightly.
"Just passable? But I still think Nii-san's cooking is better." Felt spoke up again.
Hearing her, Takeru shook his head with a light smile.
