Now he lay there like a dead dog soone had casually tossed aside, dumped right in front of her.

Her mind went blank. Pure fear flooded in and swallowed her whole.

Translucent is dead?

How the fuck is that possible!

Was it this "Deep" who had just finished inside of her?

That move he made toward the empty air earlier… could it be…?

While her thoughts spun into total chaos from terror, her eyes darted around the huge office on their own, desperately hunting for any clue that could make sense of this nightmare.

Then she saw it.

In another corner, near the liquor cabinet, another body lay perfectly still.

It wore the exact sa dark green uniform with fins and gills as the man in front of her.

That handso face was the real Deep she had t downstairs just minutes ago.

Only now, a clean through-and-through hole burned straight through his head by insane heat. Black char mixed with red and white brain matter oozed out. A truly grueso sight.

Starlight's breathing stopped completely.

Her mind — the one that had believed in light and justice since she was a little girl — totally crashed.

If the body on the floor was the real Deep…

His bones made fine, teeth-grinding crunching sounds as they contracted.

His strong muscles rapidly shrank and dissolved. His height dropped visibly at a crazy speed.

The fitted uniform grew looser and looser on him, like a kid playing dress-up in adult clothes.

In just a few seconds, he went from a full-grown man to a blond, innocent-looking, almost cute seven-year-old boy.

Starlight was completely speechless.

She stared at the boy standing there in the baggy, torn remains of The Deep's uniform, at that soft childish face and those cold, inhuman ice-blue eyes.

She finally got it.

This wasn't so dirty workplace "unspoken rule" bullshit.

This was a monster she couldn't even begin to understand. Sothing that hunted superheroes and laughed at common sense.

"This expression is more interesting than the expressions you were showing while taking my dick."

Ryan spoke in his tender, clear kid's voice.

But right now it sounded colder than any curse in Starlight's ears.

He looked at her face twisted in pure terror and seed very satisfied.

"It had been so long since I had tasted a woman's body. Girls would usually throw themselves at in my previous life. But I had a liking to the unwilling ones, blackmailing them, breaking them, and seeing that helpless expression, Haah~ it gets going. You were great, Annie. Before he even finished the sentence, Ryan's small body suddenly vanished into thin air.

No warning. He just blinked out completely.

Starlight shivered hard. Extre fear finally flipped a switch and ignited her buried survival instinct.

She could still feel that cold, deadly threat coiled around her in the closed room, hiding sowhere in the dark like a venomous snake.

She couldn't just sit there and wait to die!

"Ah ah ah ah ah!" She stood from the bed, still naked, and scread at the top of her lungs, no longer holding anything back.

She unleashed every bit of light energy she had stored in her body since childhood.

Her body exploded like a supernova going off at ground level.

A blinding, scorching burst of light erupted around her, turning the entire top-floor office bright as noon.

The raw energy blast ripped the expensive furniture to shreds and made the huge floor-to-ceiling windows scream as they threatened to shatter.

She tried to use the destructive light to force the demon out of the shadows.

But the all-out, desperate attack did nothing.

Inside that dazzling white glare hot enough to burn retinas, two red heat-vision beams shot out, more focused and deadly than her own light.

They pierced straight through Starlight's knees with zero resistance.

"Ah!"

She scread sharply as her legs gave out and she crashed hard onto her knees.

The brutal pain from her ruined knees made her vision go black. The brilliant light around her quickly faded.

She had failed.

Before she could even suck in another breath, the invisible god of death was already right in front of her.

She couldn't see the enemy at all. She only felt a terrifying force slam into her.

A small fist carrying the power of a god smashed down on her head again and again.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The dull, wet thuds sounded like a heavy hamr pounding a waterlon, echoing through the silent office.

Starlight couldn't fight back at all. Her mind blurred from the very first punch.

She could only feel her skull cracking and her brain rattling inside.

After dozens of punches, amid the nonstop sickening thuds, Starlight's head exploded like an overripe waterlon.

Red and white chunks mixed with golden hair splattered across the entire room and all over the invisible killer.

Everywhere it touched, the blood and gri instantly broke down and vanished completely in the glow.

He was clean again, looking like a perfect little angel.

He closed his eyes and quietly felt the new powers inside him.

The Deep's ability to talk to marine creatures.

Translucent's nearly indestructible diamond-like skin and perfect optical invisibility.

Starlight's powerful light energy absorption and release.

The core abilities of three mbers of The Seven were now perfectly fused together inside him.

With a thought, his body vanished into thin air again, entering absolute invisibility.

The next second he popped back into the sa spot.

Red light flickered in his eyes, then switched to brilliant golden light.

He opened his eyes and stood calmly in the middle of the three corpses sprawled in different positions, looking over the office he had turned into a slaughterhouse.

Like a satisfied god who had just finished enjoying his offerings.

The so-called "The Seven" were nothing more than ripe fruits hanging on branches, ready for him to pluck whenever he wanted.

It was a sha he didn't need to kill his cheap father.
