___

In Holander's office.

After that short standoff, Ryan stepped out. Or rather, the version of Ryan now wearing The Deep's skin.

He started his hunt.

He headed straight for the private elevator that led to the top-floor lounge, every step rock-solid and sure.

He was still getting used to this new body. A weird, deep connection to water seeped out of every pore in his skin. He could even clearly "hear" the water moving through every pipe and duct in the whole Vought Tower system.

At the sa ti, the original The Deep's ssy, chaotic mories flooded into his head like a busted dam. All that stupid lust and dumb bullshit. Ryan filtered through it cold as ice, keeping only the useful bits for the show he was about to put on.

The Deep's lazy drawl, his little fake gestures, and that whole self-righteous, phony "I'm such a good guy who loves the ocean" act. He locked all of it in.

The elevator doors slid open without a sound. He stepped inside.

Right as the doors started to close, his super senses (the ones boosted by Holander's blood) picked up a tiny glitch in the air.

For a split second, the light in the elevator bent in a way it shouldn't. At the sa ti, he caught an almost silent heartbeat that didn't belong to him.

It was Translucent.

A cold grin spread across Ryan's borrowed face, the kind a predator gets when dinner walks right up and rings the doorbell.

He didn't even need to dig deep. The Deep's own mories handed him everything. Translucent had a hunch that Deep planned to do sothing with the new girl joining the seven. So he decided to sneak along, turn invisible, and hide in the shadows for a free front-row seat to "The Seven's no. 2 giving the rookie a special welco."

There's no reason to turn down a free ga that walks straight into the trap, Ryan thought with a sneer.

His original plan was Starlight, waiting up in the lounge. But now a much better prize had just handed himself over on a silver platter.

Translucent's real powers were carbon-diamond skin tough enough to eat large-caliber bullets and near-perfect optical invisibility.

Those two abilities were way more useful, whether for fighting or sneaking around, than just being able to boss fish around in the water.

He imdiately decided to upgrade the plan on the spot.

Take them both out.

The elevator rose smoothly and arrived at the top floor with a soft ding.

The doors opened to reveal The Seven's private lounge.

The place scread money: polished Italian marble floors, walls covered in priceless modern art, and floor-to-ceiling windows showing off the best skyline view in New York.

But Starlight wasn't in the mood to enjoy any of it.

She sat alone on the oversized leather sofa, hands gripping the hem of her uniform so tight her knuckles went white.

She felt excited and awed to be in this place she'd dread about since she was a kid, but at the sa ti a heavy, suffocating pressure filled the fancy air. She felt like a clueless country girl who had wandered into the wrong place and didn't belong here at all.

Just then, the lounge door opened.

Ryan, still wearing The Deep's face and body, walked in.

He nailed The Deep's signature smile: self-righteous, sunny, confident, with just the right amount of fake friendliness.

He walked straight over and dropped onto the sofa opposite Starlight, leaning back like he owned the place, every inch the relaxed, experienced mber.

He could clearly sense Translucent had slipped in right behind him, invisible, and picked a perfect spot behind Starlight's side. That faint heartbeat was already picking up speed from pure anticipation.

"How do you feel, Starlight? Getting used to it yet?"

Ryan spoke in the exact sa magnetic, phony voice as the original Deep.

He started the performance.

Pulling straight from The Deep's mories, he smoothly fed her all the usual bullshit about teamwork, handling pressure, and how to "fit in" with this crowd.

He told her that being in The Seven wasn't just about wearing the suit and punching bad guys. The real shit was learning how to play the ga, handle the relationships, and understand the unspoken rules.

Starlight listened carefully at first, eyes full of respect for him.

But as "The Deep" kept talking and the topics got more and more shady, her smile slowly froze on her face.

She could feel things sliding in a very wrong direction.

Finally, while Starlight's unease kept growing, Ryan (still in The Deep's body) leaned forward, elbows on his knees.

In that greasy, suggestive, I-know-I'm-sexy voice, he dropped the classic line that could kill every dream in one shot:

"You know, Annie, sotis in this team… we gotta help each other out. It's all about trust."

His eyes shalessly crawled up and down Starlight's tight uniform, drinking in every curve.

"Now, I need you to do a favor..."

As he spoke, Ryan lifted a finger and pointed straight at his own crotch in a slow, insulting gesture.

Starlight's face went completely white.

Every beautiful fantasy she had about superheroes, justice, and her big dreams shattered right there in that second.

Her eyes went wide with pure disbelief as she stared at the man who had just been talking about ideals and teamwork.

"On your knees, Annie."

"I… I don't—"

"You don't what?" Ryan cut her off, voice dripping with mock sympathy. "Don't want to? Don't think this is how heroes behave?" He let out a low chuckle. "Let make this very simple for you, rookie."

"I'm number two in The Seven. And there are at least twenty other supes out there.. stronger, more experienced, more ruthless, who would slit your throat and fuck the wound just to take your seat."

Starlight's lips trembled.

"You're only here because I, The Deep, saw your little audition video and jerked off to it enough tis to recomnd you."

"Hah~ That's it. That's your entire qualification. Number 7 spot was never yours by rit. It was handed to you because a pervert thought you had a pretty mouth."

Shock, disgust, and burning humiliation flooded through her.

"So here's the deal, Starlight."

He reached down and slowly unzipped the front of his suit, freeing his already half-hard cock.

"You're going to wrap those soft, innocent lips around my dick and suck off like your entire future depends on it. Because it does. You do a good job, keep your pretty mouth shut, and maybe.. just maybe.. you get to stay in The Seven. You cry, you fight, you hesitate… and I'll make one phone call. Tomorrow morning there'll be a new blonde girl in your costu, and you'll be back in Iowa doing mall openings for the rest of your pathetic life.... Or worse."

Ryan tilted his head, voice turning sickly sweet.

"Co on, Annie. This is the real superhero business. You wanted to be one of us so badly. Prove you belong. So many people will look up to you. Your na alone will discourage criminals. Think about all the people you could help. Compared to that, one night with isn't even fair.. for , right?"

The show.. must go on...

Starlight quietly sank down slowly until she was kneeling on the cold marble floor in front of him, her tight white-and-gold uniform stretching across her chest as she looked up with humiliated, defeated eyes.

Ryan could clearly feel the hidden watcher's heartbeat spike hard from raw excitent.

Ryan smiled down at her, thumb brushing across her trembling lower lip.

"That's a good girl. Open."

Starlight parted her lips, a single tear finally slipping down her cheek. Ryan didn't wait. He pushed the head of his cock past her lips, sliding slowly over her warm, wet tongue until he felt the back of her throat.

"Mmm… fuck, that's it," he groaned, voice thick with pleasure. "Suck."

Ryan's hand tightened in her hair, guiding her rhythm, pushing a little deeper each ti she bobbed forward.

"Look at while you're sucking," he ordered.

Ryan hadn't forgotten about Translucent amid his pleasure. Ryan could "see" the warped light quietly drifting closer, positioning itself for the best possible view of Starlight's total breakdown and submission.

The timing was perfect.

Right fucking now.

The exact mont Translucent's mind was most relaxed and his attention completely locked on the show.

The exact mont Starlight was still drowning in humiliation and shock.

Ryan moved.

No big dramatic wind-up. Nothing flashy.

He just casually reached out toward the empty air beside him, like he was swatting a fly, a hint of bored impatience on his face.

That hand carried the full terrifying strength of his real body, Holander's blood, enough to rip a tank apart like wet paper.
