’Chaos Elental Plane? Order Elental Plane?’
Simon was surprised and curious when he heard these words from Researcher Mahan. Even many of his classmates were also curious.
Many didn’t like studying, but learning about the elents and the elental planes was interesting to them.
"What is a Chaos Elental Plane and an Order Elental Plane?" Simon could not help but ask.
"Just from the na, I’m sure you have an idea what the difference between the two elental planes are."
"I can go into many details and theories regarding both Elental Planes, but I won’t for two reasons. Number one, you won’t understand till you beco Archfiends."
"When you beco an Archfiend, you’ll understand what it ans to control your chaos."
"And number two, this is sothing you’ll learn in your second year. Not now."
"But what I can tell you is that the Chaos Elental Plane is like a chaotic parallel plane of the Order Elental Plane, or a chaotic mirror of the Order Elental Plane, or you can say it’s a negative version of the Order Elental Plane."
"And one of the core differences between the two planes is that the Order Elental Plane has the light elent but not the darkness elent, while the Chaos Elental Plane does not have the light elent but the darkness elent."
"It’s one way we differentiate between the two planes."
"When it cos to planes, it’s quite complicated and also difficult to understand because we can’t reach those planes easily."
’But what of the Chaos Plane? I wonder what it actually is.’ Simon thought of the Chaos Plane where he saw the Sword Daemon and a plane he would be able to access after he becos an Archfiend.
"Another thing I can tell you is about the elental affinities of humans. You asked a few things about the elental affinities of humans, and I want to explain what I know to you to show you just how weak and pathetic humans truly are."
Simon raised a brow behind his mask. ’You demons are the one that seem more pathetic to . Suppressed by the gods and nearly annihilated by in the past. How are humans pathetic and weak.’
Despite his thoughts and beliefs, he definitely didn’t say them out loud.
"Like I said, humans are borrowers. Whenever a human has an elental affinity through their blessing, they are actually using the elental affinity of their patron."
"If a human has a Divine Blessing and gains an elental affinity, he’s actually using the elental affinity of his or her patron god. It’s the sa for Martial Blessings and Guardian Blessings which are gotten from Martial Spirits and Demi-Gods."
"The human’s affinity might not be as powerful as that of their patron, but it would be powerful nevertheless. If their patron abandons them and decides to cut off this connection, the human would also lose his or her affinity."
"As for Elental Blessings, humans with this blessing are also borrowing from their patron Elental Spirits. However, their connection and affinity with the elent of their patron elental spirit is usually very high."
"It won’t be surprising if a human has a S grade affinity because of their patron elental spirit."
Researcher Mahan shook his head slightly with a disappointed expression behind his mask.
Simon asked another question. "So, does that an that if a human consud a natural treasure that can grant him or her an elental affinity, the human would still not be able to have an affinity?
Researcher Mahan furrowed his brows slightly behind his mask, then a few seconds later, he answered.
"To be honest, I’m not completely certain. But if I’m to guess based on what I know, then no. The human would not get the affinity."
"For sothing like that, majority, if not all of the benefits of that natural treasure would go to their patron."
"For the human who doesn’t know better, it would feel like he or she had gained a new affinity or maybe their affinity grade increased, but they don’t know that it’s just because the affinity grade of their patron increased or their patron had just gained a new affinity because of the natural treasure they consud."
Simon’s gaze beca solemn and dark behind his mask.
"Humans believe that the gods and other beings don’t benefit from them, that’s why I call them weak and pathetic."
"Without the help of the gods and those beings, humans are nothing before us. They are beggars, parasites, and worthless creatures."
Simon said nothing for a few seconds as nurous thoughts were in his mind, then he bowed at the researcher.
"Thank you for taking your ti to answer my questions and for expanding my world view."
Researcher Mahan smiled behind his mask while nodding softly.
"No problem, kid. I enjoyed answering the questions you asked. I like you, so if you ever have any question or problem that you feel I might be able to solve, I’ll do my best to solve it for you."
Simon smiled behind his mask and bowed once again.
"Thank you."
Researcher Mahan nodded, then he looked at the others in Simon’s class.
"I hope all of you have learned a thing or two from all I said?"
Everybody nodded.
"Good. Now, let us test your shadow affinity grade and see what your individual affinity potential is."
Researcher Mahan gestured at the inclined bed at the center of the lab.
"We’ll strap you to the bed, and then we’ll inject you with our special shadow formula. We call this formula, Formula X. I obviously can’t tell you what the formula is since it’s our clan’s secret."
"However, once you’re injected with Formula X, you’ll feel the formula move across your body, and for so, it’ll be very uncomfortable. While for others, they’ll feel nothing and no discomfort at all."
"We’ll be giving you guys in doses, and if your shadow affinity potential is low, your body might reject the first or second dose."
"The maximum number of doses we give is seven, and if your body accepts or is able to handle the first dose but rejects the second dose, you have a F grade shadow affinity potential."
"If your body rejects the first dose, that ans you have no potential for the shadow elent."
"If your body is able to accept up to seven doses, then that ans you have a S grade shadow affinity potential."
"Depending on how your body reacts to each dose, we also know what sub-grade to give you at the end of the day."
"So, with all that being said, who wants to co up first?"
