When Simon received the Hollow Gaze technique, he imdiately knew why Lilith told him that the only reason why she was giving him the technique is because he had a vast sea of consciousness.
He needed about ten percent of his ntal energy to be able to even receive the technique.
He went through the technique, and the more he went through it, the more solemn his expression beca.

He spent about seven minutes going through the technique. He was sitting with his eyes closed and his right leg placed on top of his left leg.
A few seconds later, he opened his eyes, then he stood and walked in the direction of the cultivation tower.
He paid ninety rits for a mid grade cultivation room since demonic energy was not the most important energy he needed.
He only paid for a mid-grade cultivation room just in case he needed demonic energy from the air for anything.
As soon as he entered the cultivation room, he inspected it, and made sure that there was nothing suspicious in the room.
After ensuring that everything was good, he sat with his legs crossed, then he closed his eyes.
In the next mont, he appeared inside his sea of consciousness.
He took a glance around, then he inhaled deeply and exhaled deeply before gesturing at the empty air in front of him.
His expression was one of extre focus, and a few seconds later, two large pair of sky blue eyes began to appear above his sea of consciousness.
These were just a manifestation of his eyes, and they were needed for the Hollow Gaze technique to work.
"They say the eyes is the doorway to the soul. That’s actually right in so ways." He muttered softly, then he shifted his attention back to what he was here to do.
The first thing he had to do is to reconstruct the Sky Eye and make it the Foundation Layer.
It was sothing that was very easy for him to do.
It didn’t take him much ti, and in less than three minutes, he had already reconstructed the Sky Eye so that it could accommodate the Hollow Gaze technique.
"Now, the hard part begins."
He raised his hand, then waves began to form from his sea. He clenched his fist, and the waters began to compress.
This might seem simple at a glance, but it wasn’t.
As long as the energy was his, whether it was aether, demonic energy, or ntal energy, he would instinctively know how to control that energy at a level that would stun even the gods.
After compressing a large volu of his ntal energy, it now shattered into extrely tiny pieces.
If one looked closely, one would realize that these tiny pieces were actually chaos runes.
And this was where the hard part began for Simon.
He was not proficient when it ca to chaos runes, but the knowledge Lilith gave him also contained knowledge on the chaos runes that were to be created in the process of creating the Hollow Gaze technique.
These chaos runes were the foundation of the technique, and without it, one would fail in creating the technique.
Simon’s understanding of chaos runes did not suddenly shoot up to a high level because of Lilith’s knowledge.

All he had to do was to just perfectly or nigh perfectly copy and paste all the runes she sent into his mind.
Only if he had a computer that could do this for him easily.
Simon’s expression was one of intense focus and concentration as so runes would fuse, so would shatter into smaller runes, and so would explode because he created them incorrectly.
Waves upon waves of his ntal energy swept across the space of his sea of consciousness, and Simon could feel his ntal energy draining at a rapid pace.
He had used about thirty percent of his ntal energy, and he was still not even halfway done.
But the good part about what he was doing was that even though he was basically doing copy and paste, he was also learning and understanding a few things about chaos runes with everything he was doing.
He was learning more about the strokes, rune compatibility, and so on.
Because of this, his expenditure of his ntal energy was decreasing, and by the ti he was 95% done with the creation of the symbol of the Hollow Gaze technique, the size of his Sea of Consciousness was approximately thirty five percent of what it was.
By the ti he was fully done, he had about thirty percent of his ntal energy left.
He exhaled one of the deepest breaths he had ever exhaled in his current life, and if one saw him in the real world, one would see that his entire body was soaked in sweat.
Despite the stress, he had a smile on his face as he looked at the broken and cracked ring hovering a few ters in front of him.
Because it was made out of his demonic energy, its color was black and cracks were running through it and so parts of the ring were even incomplete.
Simon snapped his fingers, and two more smaller broken and cracked rings appeared inside the massive ring.
"Three rings represent Misinterpretation, distortion, and false perception. But when it’s a single one..."
He waved his hand, and the three rings fused back into the massive broken black ring.
"... It represents illusion since everything is an illusion at the end of the day."
This was the symbol of the Hollow Gaze, and Simon had just taken the first step.
"Ti to fuse the Sky Eye and the Hollow Gaze together."
The manifestation of his eyes were also a symbol of his Sky Eye technique because the ocular technique was actually a racial technique, and Simon knew that he had not even unlocked everything about this racial technique.
"Let’s see. Let’s take it easy."
He pushed the broken black ring into the manifestation of his eyes, but the mont both of them touched each other.
He coughed out a mouthful of blood.
