The first thing Simon noticed is that the hand holding the leg of their squad mber is the hand of a Bulwark.
The aura the Bulwark emitted was that of a Greater Demon, however, it was of a Supre Greater Demon.
This was what made Simon to run away without hesitation.
Captain Heavy Sniper was only a Minor Greater Demon, and the bulwark captain he was fighting was also a Minor Greater Demon.
If this Bulwark demon that just arrived was also a Minor Greater Demon, Simon might not have escaped so quickly.
However, a Supre Greater Demon was too much for their captain to handle.
He had no need to wait and see if the captain would be able to win against two Greater Demons, with one being above him in ranking.
The longer he waited, the lower his odds of escaping from this battlefield on the wall.
It would be utterly foolish of him with all his experience to wait and hope that their captain would be able to defeat two Greater Demons.
If Simon could see the expression captain heavy sniper had, he would be escaping with even more fervor.
anwhile, the shadow blade who had his leg grabbed by the second bulwark was terrified. He tried to break free of the bulwark’s grap, but how could he?
This was a Supre Greater Demon after all.
Crunch
"Arrggggghhhhh!!!!!"
The shadow blade scread as his ankle was crushed.
He fell on the ground while screaming. He tried to twist and turn, but he could not.
The bulwark did not let go.
A few monts later, the bulwark ca out of the ground, and his massive form brought about a suffocating pressure that could not be described.
"Did he get to this place by entering inside the wall and moving through it?"
One of the shadow blades said in disbelief.
The remaining had solemn expressions when they also realized this.
Bulwarks generally have an above average affinity grade for the earth elent, and it was not so surprising that a Greater Demon bulwark used his ability to be able to reach the top of the northern wall.
"None of you rats are making it out of here alive."
The bulwark’s deep voice drifted across the air, then he raised the shadow blade he had been holding ever since, then he vanished.
Before the shadow blades could react, the bulwark appeared behind them one after the other.
For the first shadow blade, he used the shadow blade in his hand as a club.
He swung the shadow blade into his partner, and both heads slamd into one another.
BANG!
Both heads shattered like a sledgehamr crushing a waterlon.
Blood, bones, and flesh scattered everywhere, but the bulwark was not done.
He appeared behind another, and he did the sa thing.
He used the corpse of the shadow blade and swung it like a bat.
Bang!
Because of the force behind the swing, both corpses completely broke and scattered into pieces.
And this annoyed the bulwark.
"Tch. So fragile."
He clicked his tongue, then he looked at the remaining seven shadow blades.
At first, the shadow blades wanted to fight the bulwark together, but after seeing what he did, they began to have second thoughts.
Apparently, they had forgotten that the difference between a Supre Greater Demon and a Minor Greater Demon is not the sa thing as the difference between a Supre Archfiend and a Minor Greater Demon.
This was why Simon fled.
He knew the end result of what was going to happen.
And unfortunately for the shadow blades, they realized this too late.
One of them turned to run, but the bulwark suddenly appeared in front of her and grabbed her head.
With a scoff, his entire hand covered her head and he crushed it.
He tore off her clothes, leaving her completely naked, then he let go of her body.
Her corpse swayed before falling to the ground with a thud.
"Assassins are so fragile and weak."
The bulwark said with disgust and disdain as he wiped off the blood on his hand with her clothes.
He looked around, and to his surprise, he noticed that the remaining shadow blades were already escaping.
Just because one of theirs died in a grueso manner did not an that they were going to stop.
In fact, many of them saw this as an opportunity and wished for the bulwark to take his ti killing their allies so that they could escape.
At the end of the day, their lives were what mattered.
"This is why we hate assassins. Fucking cowards. Be warriors and fight." The bulwark growled in anger and extre disgust.
He was about to take a step forward, but an arrow pierced his shoulder, causing him to stumble forward a little.
He looked at his shoulder which had an arrow sticking out of it, then he looked at captain heavy strike with a lightly raised brow.
He saw that the captain was breathing roughly and he had minor injuries.
The bulwark shifted his gaze to the other bulwark captain, and when he saw that the bulwark captain was dead with an arrow stuck in his neck, he could not help but shake his head in disappointnt.
"You’re a disgrace to the Bulwark clan for losing to an assassin without making him to lose an arm or two."
Captain heavy sniper nocked an arrow to his bow, then he pulled it.
The supre demon bulwark scoffed, then he clenched his fist.
The captain’s eyes widened as his instincts scread at him and he felt the changes in the ground.
He quickly dodged to the back as an earth spike shot out of the ground in front of him.
However, it was a wrong decision.
Puchi!
Another earth spike appeared behind him and pierced his chest.
The one in front of him pierced his heart.
One appeared to his right and left, and they both pierced his skull.
The captain died instantly.
The bulwark shook his head, then he looked at the running shadow blades.
The smart ones had jumped off the wall, but so believed that if they could distance themselves from him, they would be safe.
Wrong
The bulwark clenched his fist, and earth spikes shot out of the ground and pierced three shadow blades.
They all died.
If he was here, Simon would realize that this bulwark was not just a re Supre Greater Demon.
No
He was a half-step into the demon lord rankings, so he was stronger than a Supre Greater Demon.
And unfortunately for Simon who was running on the wall, the southern tower sent a signal.
A red beam of light illuminated his figure from the southern tower as he ran on the wall.
"Fuck." He cursed.
