“Let’s go.” Nalan Chunbo grabbed hold of Ye Yuwei’s luggage and led her away.
Ye Yuwei turned back to look at Gu Juexi’s darkened expression. She reached out to grab his wrist.
“Let’s go!”
Gu Juexi and Nalan Chunbo seemed to have nothing in mon, this was most probably a mistake.
The three of them got into the car. Nalan Chunbo was the driver and the couple were seated in the backseat.
“Have you met Wen Chenghao?” Gu Juexi asked.
“Nope,” Nalan Chunbo answered immediately. “But my mother’s death was caused by your Gu family, that is an indisputable fact.”

“Don’t even bother speaking on his behalf,” Nalan Chunbo snapped at her. The way he spoke was filled with suppressed hatred. It no longer possessed the loving tone he used to have for her.
“Did Father personally tell you about Aunt’s death?” Ye Yuwei asked as she adjusted her position.
“Who else?” Nalan Chunbo asked as he looked into the rear mirror at Gu Juexi. “My mother’s death was caused by his grandmother.”
Ye Yuwei glanced at Gu Juexi. Gu Juexi had told her that before, so there was no question about its validity.
