The bodyguard allowed her to leave the office, but followed closely behind her.
Li An’an walked towards the washroom under the watchful eyes of her colleagues. She washed her face desperately under the tap to calm herself down.
Xiao Zhang walked furtively into the washroom. “Li An’an, why are the CEO’s bodyguards following you around? What’s going on? Are you trying to run away? The CEO is so dashing, what are you even thinking?”
Li An’an’s eyes lit up. “No, there’s a situation. Are you able to help me get out?”
Xiao Zhang immediately disappeared like a gust of wind, before her voice even faded.
“I know. The CEO is playing some sort of seduction game with you. I’m not going to play gooseberry. I’m leaving right away! Hahahaha!”
Li An’an could only curse at her for being disloyal..
