Are you free this afternoon?
We could go shopping!”
“This afternoon?”
“Yeah!”
“Sure, where do you want to go?”
“We can go to the mall, the pedestrian street, anywhere you like!”
“Where should we meet up?”
“I’ll e to your dorm around two in the afternoon!”
“I’m not at the dorm, so how about we meet at the school gate at two instead?”
“Alright, see you at two then!”
“Okay, bye!” Lenny replied with a smile.
After hanging up, Lenny continued making the soup.
With the soup done, it was just the vegetables left to stir-fry.
Lenny called Mr.
Tunner to let him know lunch would be ready soon.
This way, she wouldn’t have to wait for his driver after the meal was ready, which would waste time.
After calling Mr.
Tunner, Lenny took out the bento box and insulated bag and flask from the cupboard.
The flask could hold the soup, the bento box for the rice and dishes, and with the insulated bag, it would stay warm.
Once Lenny prepared these, she started stir-frying the vegetables.
After stir-frying the vegetables, she plated them, placed some into the bento box, and closed the lid, putting it into the insulated bag.
Then Lenny tidied up the kitchen and sat down at the dining table to eat her own lunch.
The rest was all hers.
As Lenny ate her lunch, she mented to herself,
“The vegetables are fried pretty well.
Although they’re a bit bland, they’re very crispy.
