Chapter 61: Inexplicably Familiar
The moment their lips met, Qiao Moyu’s body trembled all over and she opened her eyes abruptly.
But the man in front of her obviously didn’t give her a chance. Sensing her stiffness, Ye Peicheng wrapped her waist with his other arm and tightly embraced her. His slippery tongue pried into her teeth immediately.
Suddenly, Qiao Moyu felt her heart beat loudly like a drum. Ye Peicheng’s unusual aggressiveness caused her to part her lips and her brain blanked out. Almost instinctively, she pulled her hand out of Ye Peicheng’s grasp and pushed him away with a violent effort!
“Cut!” Director Feng looked to her and said: “Moyu, what are you doing? Your character’s current state is frail from illness, so how is she supposed to push Peicheng away? If you’re in a weakened state, don’t appear stronger than a man.”
Qiao Moyu was a bit embarrassed. She really wasn’t used to being so close to other people. She hurriedly apologized but then realized something at that moment: ‘Ye Peicheng wasn’t replaced by his stand-in?’
“I’m sorry,” she apologized to him. Noticing his dark and unclear gaze, she explained, “Film Emperor Ye, I didn’t mean to push you away. I just wasn’t used to it.”
“It’s alright, we can retake it.” After that, Ye Peicheng signaled for the cameramen to get ready.
Everyone was in place
Ye Peicheng took a step forward, glanced at the camera, then pushed Qiao Moyu against the wall once again. With a low whisper that only she could here, he forted: “You’ll get used to it.”
Qiao Moyu was stunned at his words, knowing that he was speaking only to her. Just when she was about to ask, the man before her changed his momentum once again. He clasped her hand and pressed down upon her lips.
The touch felt electric, stimulating every cell all over her body. Qiao Moyu instinctively wanted to push him away, but she also knew that she wasn’t supposed to resist forcefully.
Feeling the woman’s restlessness in his arms, Ye Peicheng bowed down towards Qiao Moyu’s ear as if to kiss her, but instead, a voice full of anger spoke: “Moyu, are you that miserable when I’m close to you?!”
For a moment, Qiao Moyu couldn’t differentiate what was part of the script or not.
The drama’s title is quite pleasant, but because of some distasteful investors, the main actor and actress have to use their own names in the play. Right now, she felt as if the actor Ye Peicheng himself was questioning her for rejecting his intimacy.
Before she could react, she felt him nibble her ear, making her feel restless. She inadvertently turned her head to the side sharply.
Their gazes collided in the heat of the moment.
The woman’s eyes were filled with panic at the man’s gloom and overbearing demeanor.
The air was stagnant until Ye Peicheng’s hand slowly release Qiao Moyu’s wrist. His finger slid against her cheek as he gently whispered in a helpless voice: “Moyu, don’t run away, okay?”
His lashes were long and his angry eyes appeared as deep as the sea. Qiao Moyu could see her reflection clearly from those eyes.
The man’s voice was gentle as he gazed at her tenderly. In the midst of war, such sincere feelings seemed to be the most precious of all.
Qiao Moyu lost her mind for moment. However, when she thought of her master’s death, she tried to push him away once again.
But Ye Peicheng seemed to have sensed something. He picked up Qiao Moyu and carried her towards her bed.
Shocked, Qiao Moyu couldn’t help but shout: “Ye Peicheng, what are you doing? You let me go!”
However, the next second, her back had fallen on the bed and Ye Peicheng immediately pressed her down. Suddenly, a man’s hot breathe overwhelmed her instantly.
The director stared at the scene with satisfaction as he stood beside the camera. Everyone watched with bated breath as their eyes focused on the couple on the gorgeous large bed.
Qiao Moyu’s nose was overe by Ye Peicheng’s scent. Her resisting hand was caught by him. Then, her eyes darkened as the man pulled the blanket over them.
After all, this was a TV series. Nothing explicit was filmed here, so there was only the ‘struggle’ underneath the sheets. In that case, Qiao Moyu only needed to endure for a few more seconds.
