Vera Xavier silently edged a little farther away from him. He frowned and said, "You can let go. With how little you’ve got up there, who’d be interested in patting it?"
Vera Xavier took a deep breath and asked him, "Nathaniel Nathan, can I bite you?"
Nathaniel Nathan’s eyes lit up instantly. He pointed to his own mouth and said, "You can. Bite right here."
Vera felt utterly defeated by him. ’He’s supposed to be so cold and aloof, so how can he be such a scoundrel?’
’Being a scoundrel was one thing, but he had such a deadpan expression on his face, as if he were discussing sothing incredibly serious.’
’She figured there had to be a reason she was afraid of him and kept her distance in her past life.’
’Any girl who fell for him would have to be suffering from eight lifetis of terrible luck!’
She took a breath and said, "I can’t be bothered with you!"
The corners of Nathaniel Nathan’s lips curved slightly, but he maintained a straight face as he said, "You kissed this morning. I haven’t returned the favor yet."
At this point, Vera Xavier honestly felt like dying. ’She had only wanted to see his composure crack. Did he really have to take it so seriously?’
She shot him a sidelong glance and imdiately clamped a hand tightly over her mouth.
Nathaniel Nathan let out a muffled chuckle. He suddenly found teasing her to be great fun, and her personality was far more interesting than he’d anticipated.
Vera Xavier realized he was probably toying with her. But even so, she refused to move her hand from her mouth. ’This hooligan might actually try to kiss .’
Nathaniel Nathan drove her to a fruit shop. When he ca out, he was carrying two large papayas, which he placed directly in her lap. She gave him a questioning look, and he said nonchalantly, "You’re eighteen now. So parts of you could use a little boost."
As he finished speaking, he glanced at her chest.
Vera Xavier’s face flushed red to the tips of her ears. ’What kind of look was that!’
’She really wanted to grab a papaya and smash it over his head!’
Nathaniel Nathan muttered again, "Already eighteen. I wonder if it’s too late for this to make a difference now."
’In any case, he had already decided she was the one he’d spend his life with. Since she was going to be his sooner or later, he might as well secure a few perks for himself.’

Hearing his words, Vera Xavier felt like she could spit blood. His cold and aloof persona in her heart had completely shattered. In her mind, the man before her now was nothing short of a hooligan!
When they reached the gate of the compound, Vera Xavier got out of the car, slung on her backpack, shot him a cold snort, and rolled her eyes at him before walking away without a backward glance.
Nathaniel Nathan frowned slightly, not quite sure why she was so upset. But at the sa ti, he found that her anger made her seem so much more alive, and her bright, pretty face even more beautiful.
He leaned against the car, watching her walk into the compound. Only then did he unhurriedly pick up the papayas she had left behind on the passenger seat, retrieve a case of apples from the trunk, and slowly follow her into the compound.
’Vera was truly infuriated by him today. It was one thing for him to take advantage of her, but then he dared to complain that her chest was small. How was her chest small?!’
Seeing that no one was around, she glanced down at her chest and imdiately felt a bit deflated.
’Alright, fine. Her living conditions in the countryside hadn’t been the best, so she’d developed a bit later than most girls her age. Her chest... really wasn’t that big. At most, she was probably a B-cup.’
