"Are you just going to look at what is happening and not even ask your fiance to apologize?" Xuan'er asked. She hated this woman, for wrapping her claws around Fu Jin. Because Jiang Yue was known to be really vicious in her ways, Xuan'er immediately assumed that Fu Jin was afraid of her.
Jiang Yue just raised an eyebrow at Xuan'er before stifling a laugh. Then, she directed her gaze at Huang Jie. "Are you sure you want to start this with us, Huang Guigu?"
"What? Are you threatening my talent now? Can't you just ask your fiance to apologize? And maybe, treat my Jie Jie a pensation?" This time, Xuan'er's voice was a lot calmer than earlier. Jiang Yue's words actually made sense. Both Fu Jin and Jiang Yue was known in society. Their families were akin to two, big hegemons in the country. No one dared to just offend them
However, Xuan'er had the media and millions of Huang Jie's fans on their back. Fu Jin and Jiang Yue would not just attack them, right?
Xuan'er's reasoning was actually right, Jiang Yue and Fu Jin were not going to attack them. But it was not because of her background, but just because they were too lazy to deal with them. They came here for the Spring Festival and not to deal with some stupid people, who didn't know their place.
"Jin, she wants you to apologize," she heard Jiang Yue's voice. Xuan'er instantly thought that Jiang Yue must have feared her influence in the media. After all, a scandal would still cause her a lot of problems. Who would have thought that Fu Jin's next words would make her want to vomit blood?
"I have already pulled out all of my investments from your father's pany. I am already being lenient since you have attacked me and not my fiancée." Fu Jin said. "I don't want to see your faces in front of me again."
Then, he directed his gaze towards one of the waiters who was watching the show. "Serve our orders. I don't want my fiancée to starve."
His intimidating gaze instantly sent the waiter running towards the kitchen to get Fu Jin's orders.
"Why are you still here?" He asked both Xuan'er and Huang Jie. "Maybe you want me to call your father for you?"
That question was directed to Xuan'er. Her father-the famous director was one of the people, who were able to secure Fu Conglomerate's investment in his pany due to his multi-awarded works. Yet, in just a blink of an eye, Fu Jin had pulled out all of their shares in the pany.
"You... You... How dare you threaten us like this?" Xuan'er raged. "You did not catch my artist and now you are threatening us? If this is not on the front page of newspapers tomorrow, then I will curse my own family!" She declared, her voice loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Are you sure about that?" Jiang Yue asked, her smile almost blinding Xuan'er. How e this woman's smile was so beautiful?
"Yes! You dared to threaten me... You think too highly of yourself! Just wait to see the front pages of newspapers tomorrow!"
"Well... I wonder, whose news will be more interesting. Fu Jin's or...." Jiang Yue opened the folder that was given by Bei Ye. Her eyes were full of approval. As always, Bai'Li was quick in digging out other people's dirty secrets. "Yours, about the husband that you have paid to marry you?"
"Tell me... how much have you paid his first wife and daughters to leave him? Ten million Yuans? Hmm, I would say... your husband is too cheap, don't you think so?"
