"No way, the Eighth-rank Experts we know are all doing fine in Xingluo."

That day, Wang Junyi set off from the City Lord Mansion early and sneaked toward Su Changfeng’s small courtyard, thinking he was being discreet enough not to be noticed. But he underestimated the capabilities of Seventh-rank Experts.
Little did he know that his movents had already been observed by the three from Xingluo.
Wang Junyi went straight to Su Changfeng’s courtyard, and as soon as he entered, he widened his eyes, even suspecting he might have stepped into the wrong place. Previously, this place was overgrown with weeds, but now it was completely different.
The environnt was serene and spotless; there were rockeries, flowing water, winding paths, and even flowers planted all over the courtyard, giving it an almost otherworldly feel.
"What brings you here?" Su Changfeng asked with so surprise upon seeing Wang Junyi.
"Master, did you do all this? If I hadn’t seen you, I would’ve thought this wasn’t my courtyard," Wang Junyi expressed in astonishnt.
Su Changfeng looked around, unable to hide his smile. He had nothing much to do lately and whimsically decided to redesign the place. The courtyard was large enough for him to freely express his creativity, and before he knew it, he had gone a bit overboard. Compared to the previously overgrown look, the courtyard now felt completely refreshed.
"Did the people from Xingluo leave?" Su Changfeng inquired.
Thinking of the people from Xingluo, Wang Junyi couldn’t help but sigh. If it weren’t for them, he wouldn’t be this bored.
"No, they’re not showing any intention of leaving and will probably stay for a while longer. But don’t worry, Master. I snuck out quietly this ti; no one noticed ," Wang Junyi replied.
Su Changfeng chuckled wryly, knowing full well that even though he hadn’t t the people from Xingluo, with his Fourth-rank strength, he couldn’t possibly hide from them. His every move was probably under their surveillance.
"Do you truly think their prowess is all talk and that they wouldn’t notice your subtle actions?" Su Changfeng remarked with a smile.
"Master, I left early in the morning and lingered outside for a long ti before coming here. Surely they wouldn’t have noticed," Wang Junyi insisted.
"With your current strength, you still don’t understand what high-rank strength entails. They might have noticed you the mont you stepped out of the City Lord Mansion," Su Changfeng noted. Currently, he didn’t even need to actively use his strength to sense Wang Junyi’s presence, so when Wang Junyi appeared at the courtyard gate, he already knew he was there.
The reason the three from Xingluo hadn’t left yet was naturally to investigate Wang Junyi. Since they were investigating, how could they not keep track of Wang Junyi’s whereabouts?
Wang Junyi felt a chill in his heart. If things were as the master said, then hadn’t he done sothing wrong?
Feeling guilty, Wang Junyi looked at Su Changfeng and said, "Master, it’s all my fault. I thought I wouldn’t be noticed. I was too naive. What should we do now? If they’ve really discovered you, they’ll certainly give you trouble."
Su Changfeng wasn’t worried about the Xingluo people causing trouble for him. Besides, given their strength, what could they do to him? If push ca to shove, he could just eliminate them, which would be effortless for Su Changfeng.
However, without special reasons, Su Changfeng wouldn’t make a move. After all, Xingluo was full of experts, and offending them at this ti would surely bring a lot of trouble.

Su Changfeng gave Wang Junyi a aningful look, unsure of what to say. Was this guy’s brain malfunctioning? In their eyes, figuring out how Wang Junyi was able to ta the Blood Lion was far more important than taking away a Fourth-rank Expert. Where did he get such confidence?
So even if he was willing to go with them, they wouldn’t abandon the investigation.
"You’d better go back. I know what to do," Su Changfeng waved his hand, signaling him to leave.
Feeling remorseful, Wang Junyi returned, leaving with an increasingly uneasy feeling. After he left, three more people appeared in the courtyard.
As Su Changfeng predicted, from the mont Wang Junyi stepped out of the City Lord Mansion, they had already sensed him.
"Who are you?" asked the three, sizing up Su Changfeng.
"Just an ordinary civilian," Su Changfeng replied plainly.
"An ordinary civilian? Would Wang Junyi sneak out to see just an ordinary civilian?" Soone asked, looking at Su Changfeng suspiciously.
"Sneak out? What do you an? You seem to have misunderstood. He didn’t co here to see ; he ca to cause trouble," Su Changfeng explained.
"Do you think we’re fools? You can’t brush us off with a few words," one of them huffed, clearly not buying Su Changfeng’s explanation.
"Believe it or not, if you investigate, you’ll understand what I an. I want to know who you are. By the looks of it, you’re not from Tianshui City, are you?" Su Changfeng countered.
Playing dumb wouldn’t fool them, but at least it would stop them from pestering him. Su Changfeng didn’t have the energy to concoct stories, and whether they believed him wasn’t his problem.
"Who are you?"
"Previously, the son-in-law of the Shen Family, but I was recently kicked out. Everyone in Tianshui City knows. If you don’t believe , feel free to investigate," Su Changfeng stated.
