The hospital bed was large. Tang Suiyu was extrely exhausted, having not slept at all last night. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she couldn’t hold on any longer, climbing onto the bed.
Ye Gushen’s embrace was still warm, with a faint sll of dicine. Their fingers interlocked under the thin blanket, and she finally fell asleep.

When Tang Suiyu woke up, she blinked several tis before eting Ye Gushen’s dark, night-like eyes.
Her heart skipped a beat!
"Uncle Ye! You’re awake!" Tang Suiyu smiled and got up, then bumped her forehead directly against Ye Gushen’s.
"Ouch...that hurts!" Tang Suiyu fell back down, rubbing her forehead. "Uncle Ye..."
Ye Gushen’s eyes held a faint smile. "I made you worry..."
"It’s good you know!" Tang Suiyu wrapped her arms around his neck. "Uncle Ye, whimper, whimper..."
Her eyes were already a bit uncomfortable from not being fully awake. She cried yesterday, didn’t sleep the night before, and now her eyes were heavily circled and bagged. Her bright and big eyes made Ye Gushen feel a pang of sorrow.
Ye Gushen held her in his arms. Upon waking, he noticed that the food on the table was untouched. The girl leaned against him, her small hand tightly clinging to him. He had no recollection of how he got to the hospital.
His gaze kept falling on her, for a long, long ti.
"Uncle Ye, I’m so hungry..." Tang Suiyu blinked.
"I’m hungry too."
"Then let’s eat together!" Tang Suiyu imdiately got up. When she saw the untouched food from last night, her face instantly turned bitter. "Oh no, oh no, I’m dood. If my mom sees that I didn’t eat, she’s definitely going to scold !"
Ye Gushen leaned against the headboard, watching her hurriedly get up, grab the food containers, and rush into the bathroom.
She ca out empty-handed.
"It’s over. I threw the food containers in the bathroom trash..." Tang Suiyu frowned, running to him. "Uncle Ye, could you vouch for ? Tell them I ate dinner last night!"
"False testimony?" Ye Gushen held her small hand. Ruannuan was still so adorable. He could still see her pure and delicate face. "What’s in it for ?"
"What do you an, a benefit? We’re husband and wife, and you’re asking for a benefit? I saved your life!" Tang Suiyu pouted, feeling extrely aggrieved.
Just then, her stomach growled.
"I’ll give you a kiss! Help keep it a secret!" Tang Suiyu lowered her head and kissed him.
Ye Gushen’s eyes revealed a satisfied, faint smile. He reached out to straighten her ssy sleepwear.
Tang Suiyu stared at him without blinking. "Did you et Feng Li before? Did you go to the cave to find ?"
"I did! So I asked him to go back and find you!" Ye Gushen stared at her noticeably thinner face. "It’s so dangerous there. Don’t go there ever again!"
"I should be the one saying that! How could you carelessly leave in such a dangerous place? What if, just what if, soone ca to where I was staying and caught ? What then? I’d rather stick with you!" Tang Suiyu’s eyes welled up with tears. She didn’t want to cry but couldn’t help it!
Ye Gushen felt he was wrong no matter what he did!
His pampering gaze stayed on his little wife, his thumb wiping away her lingering tears. "Good girl, don’t cry. I’ll feel bad."
Tang Suiyu suddenly broke into a smile through her tears. "Your punishnt is to eat more in a bit!"
"Okay!"
The doctor ca in to check on Ye Gushen. Tang Suiyu anxiously stood by, afraid sothing might be wrong!
"Sister Sui Sui..."
Soone called her.
