"Grandpa!"
She ran in with a smile. Grandpa Tang, wearing a white silk robe, saw his precious granddaughter and Ye Gushen following behind. His face lit up with laughter, wrinkles bunching together.
"As expected of my good granddaughter! You said you’d bring your fiancé ho, and you did!" Grandpa Tang waved at her. "Co here, let Grandpa see if you’ve gotten tanned!"
"You have no idea! I’m so tanned!" Tang Suiyu extended her slender arm. "Even my skin is peeling! The sun was so intense!"
"Yes, yes, my poor baby!" Grandpa Tang held her little hand. "Gushen, you should plant more trees to shield my precious from the sun!"
"Yes, yes, yes! Grandpa, I’m definitely not suited for this lifestyle. Otherwise, you might not recognize next ti you see !" She took the opportunity to nod. "So, Uncle Ye and I have discussed it, and we’re breaking off the engagent! I’m still young, immature, and rebellious, so I don’t want to trouble Uncle Ye anymore!"
Grandpa Tang’s jovial face suddenly went stiff, his sharp eyes narrowing at Ye Gushen. "She’s being unreasonable, and you agreed? Do you really not want to marry her?"

But the little girl disagreed and didn’t like him.

Grandpa Tang’s face fell, and he imdiately let go of his precious granddaughter’s hand and stood up. "I need a tranquilizer. Don’t bother , you two!"
"Grandpa, Grandpa..." Tang Suiyu chased after him. "Grandpa, you are the wisest person in our family; you can’t sacrifice Uncle Ye’s happiness for your granddaughter, right? He deserves soone better. If it’s really about a family alliance, why not my cousin? She’s your granddaughter too!"
Grandpa Tang shot her a look and sternly rebuked, "What do you know!"
"I..." She had never seen her grandpa so angry with her; what had she said wrong?
Her cousin was Uncle’s daughter; wasn’t she also Grandpa’s granddaughter?

Grandpa Tang, midway up the stairs, watched her leave. "Gushen, sorry to trouble you, but please go after her. She’s been spoiled since childhood, and this is the first decision made without her input. Sui Sui will understand in the future!"
"I think respecting her is more important."
"You don’t like her? Sui Sui is quite adorable. She’s my favorite!" Grandpa Tang’s eyes were filled with worry, even though they were at ho.
Ye Gushen’s handso face was serious. "I do like her."
"Then that’s settled. Don’t worry; Grandpa has his ways! She will agree!" Grandpa Tang gave him a knowing look. "Now go after her! Don’t you want a wife?"
Of course, he did!
Ye Gushen hadn’t been to the Tang Family’s Old Mansion for a long ti. A servant guided him to where Tang Suiyu sat on a swing.
He thought she might be crying, throwing a tantrum, or sulking, but she was unexpectedly playing a ga.
"The sun is blazing, but it’s not blazing here?" Ye Gushen raised a parasol over her. "You have a bias against the sun."
