As Gu Nanfeng approached, there was already another man standing next to Tang Suiyu, ready to catch her if she fell backward.
But she stumbled to the side, her lower back hitting the table, and she let out a barely perceptible hiss, forcing herself to stay calm, "I’m fine..."

Then, he walked away.

The underground casino was heavily ambushed today, not just to root out this place, but more importantly, to catch the people behind it. Otherwise, their effort would be in vain.
They went upstairs, where it was even more sophisticated, with guards stationed outside each private room.
"Sir, madam, our boss invites you!"
A man walking towards them blocked their path.

At the end of the corridor, the private room door was pushed open, and the two walked in.
Sitting on the brown sofa inside was the sa man they encountered downstairs.
He was holding a glass of wine, "Please, have a seat."
There were others in the room, busy playing cards.
"Join us." The man’s gaze fixed on Tang Suiyu.
"Alright!" Tang Suiyu responded with a smile. This man might have many connections here!
Yet, Gu Nanfeng’s eyes were set on a half-grey-haired man nearby. They didn’t co here entirely uninford.
The half-grey-haired man was the real boss of this place!

"I don’t drink."

A glass of mango juice was placed in front of Tang Suiyu, her favorite. The room was thick with the sll of smoke, making her squint. It felt like she was in a fairyland, a hazy mist all around.
In her haste, she grabbed the glass and took a few sips, "Feng Nan, I’m a bit tired, I want to go ho!"
This was their code.
"After this round." Gu Nanfeng turned his head, looking at her affectionately.
"Alright..."
She kept her head down, sipping on her mango juice. Before she could finish, noise erged from outside.
"Bang!"
The door to the private room was flung open, catching her off guard as Gu Nanfeng pulled her behind him. The room quickly filled with people!
Following orders, they crouched down aside, just like the others in the room.
Soone tried to run upon seeing this but was imdiately caught and brought back.
Tang Suiyu pretended to be scared, clutching Gu Nanfeng’s clothes, with her head buried down.
"Get up! Everyone out!"
