She rushed into the bathroom to brush her teeth and rinse her mouth.
She made herself look disheveled and wet. Turning around, she saw Li Xingle standing at the door with his chest wrapped in gauze.
Those eyes, like a deep vortex, swept her away.
A single glance and she was beyond redemption.
She stood there dumbstruck. "I’m sorry... I didn’t do it on purpose!"

Li Buyan’s face instantly turned red. He’s still so shaless!
Li Xingle walked towards her. "If you want to take care of you, just say so."
She twitched the corner of her mouth, slowly retreating until her back was against the wall, still watching him warily. "Don’t force !"
"My chest hurts like hell. If I cook for you, will you not feel pressured? What do you want to eat?"
She pressed her lips together in silence.
"I know what you like to eat!" He reached out his hand toward her.
Li Buyan crossed her arms and shrank into the corner as if he were a plague; just touching him would drag her down into the abyss of Hell.
A hand stiffened in mid-air.
No rush, take it slow.
As long as she’s in front of him, everything can be resolved!
Li Buyan watched him leave and breathed a sigh of relief. Obviously, he was the one who did sothing wrong, yet she apologized first. When will he realize his own mistakes!
He’s the one who should be apologizing!
In the spacious kitchen, Li Xingle was chopping vegetables, an iPad in front of him, showing a spotless, laboratory-like environnt.
"How’s your experint going?"
"Do you really want to go through with this?"
Li Xingle’s chopping didn’t pause for a second. "She doesn’t want us to be related by blood, always using that excuse to block and herself. If I could, for our future, I would change the DNA!"
"The current technology makes it a bit difficult!"
"You’ve been researching for three years! If it doesn’t work, I’ll find soone else! I didn’t invest so much money to hear you say this crap!" He was a bit exasperated.
Right now, Little Li is by his side, and he hopes it can be done as soon as possible.
In the future, she won’t be able to use any blood relation excuse to reject him!

"I’ll give you at most three more months!" Li Xingle hung up the video call.
He knew they were still in the clinical trial stage. Back then, that scientist was so confident. Now three years had passed, and if it still didn’t work out, he didn’t know what he would do!
Li Buyan knew nothing about this.
She didn’t even have an appetite to eat, despite her stomach growling.
Li Xingle rarely had patience but she wouldn’t even open her mouth. He wanted to feed her but had no way to do so.
"If you don’t open your mouth, I’ll kiss you until you do!" Seeing her still dazed, he leaned in.
He wasn’t joking; he was dead serious!
She opened her small mouth, giving Li Xingle a chance to feed her a bite.
She instinctively wanted to spit it out, but the food tasted excellent, a familiar flavor, even though she had only occasionally eaten his cooking.
By the ti she realized it, she had already swallowed.
Li Xingle’s eyebrows lifted, and a faint smile appeared at the corners of his eyes. "Little Li, be good, let feed you."
